He hated her. It was all a game. Zaire had hated Ember all along.

I hissed. His lips curled into a sneer. “And yet… you’re still talking to me.” I hated him. I hated everything about him. His face, his stupid hair, the calmness in his voice, the way he looked at me like I was a child throwing a tantrum. Like I didn’t matter. “You think this is a fucking game?” I spat. “I loved him, okay?! I fucking loved him! And you ruined it—you and your fucking brother—”

Something crackling. And fuck—I hate it. I hate Isla Moreau.

The dim light from the window caught the edges of his sharp jawline, throwing shadows across his perfectly sculpted face. His lips curved, not into a smile but something that said he knew exactly what he was doing to her. God, she hated him. And hated even more that a part of her still burned. “Where are you gonna throw me this time around?.” She asked him in a low menacing voice. She was scared of him, but she was not going to make it obvious. “I don't answer to your kind.” He brushed her question aside. Ariel scoffed in disbelief. “You hate humans but you have a cocky lawyer as your best friend.”

I even spatted it making some of water flew in the air. "Gezz your disgusting!" Blake hissed at me. "Hey hey! It's not my fault! Don't throw that kind of questions on me. My goodness I think I'm going to have heart attach from it!" I said dramatically from him. "Seriously did you?" Usher pushed the topic still to me. Making my eyes all wide looking both of them. "Are you both serious?!" I asked them in wide eyes. Like my eyes were about to fall out this instance.

But then her voice snaps through the moment, cutting through my thoughts like a blade. “You know what I fucking hate?” she growls, her eyes still locked on the screen, her anger palpable. “Men who turn everything into a fucking game! Using people like they’re nothing more than pawns. Why can’t they just be honest and say it? Say they want to screw anyone they want, instead of playing these stupid mind games. I bet he’s the kind of guy who sleeps with people just so no one else can have them.” Her words slam into me, and I freeze. Shit.

As they talked about Adrian, Rachelle's eyes were fixed on him. After a while, the game began, and Rachelle was the one to chase. Everyone began to run, but suddenly Rachelle ran to Adrian and tagged him, surprising everyone. They began to chant his name, urging him to join the game. Adrian, on the other hand, went red with anger. He abruptly stood up and glared at Rachelle. "Why did you tag me? I'm not interested in playing. Can't you understand?" he yelled, startling her. The others were also taken aback by his outburst. Even the elders looked at them when they heard the commotion.

Evely begged. "I will hang up the call".. Sophia cut her off. "Alright.. let's go gaming, you see the gun game you won last week; I want to payback". "Bye.".. Sophia said and hung up the call. "Wait, wait." Evely Sprint from the other end but Sophia already hung up. She called again. "Evely I'm at mum's eatery; I can't go, haven't I told you!!".. Sophia snapped almost yelling. "Twinny please now, boredom is killing me in here." She Begged.
