They were all adjusted alphabetically. He then randomly picked a book. ‘If I had your Face – By Frances Cha’ He read the title. He opened the book. On the first page, there was her name and a date written. The date when she either got the book or started reading it. He flipped through the pages. She had underlined some context. Marked notes somewhere. Scribbled replies to some lines. He laughed to himself. There was this line she had highlighted, “In New York, you can talk to anyone about anything at any time and have a conversation so long you'll fall a little in love with that person, and then never see them again.”

She sure as h*ll doesn't give a f*ck about us. Beside this was some scribbled drawings and more rantings and hatred scratched onto the pages. I flipped through, looking for a more substantial entry. I met my dearest sissy today. The wh*re took no time finding her way into the alpha's bed, and she looked at me like she didn't even know who I was to her. Mom was right. Lila is a stuck-up b*tch, and we will get what she owes us. I gasped as I re-read that sentence again and then a third time. Hudson is my brother. No, that can't be right.
