Once again, Adaline shook her head. Adaline tried to stand up, but her knees felt too weak. Without being asked, Altezza helped her. The man carried her back into the room and sat her down on the bed. "My bag," Adaline requested, pointing towards where she kept her bag. Altezza frowned, but he did as Adaline asked. Adaline handed him a small blue-covered book. Altezza's forehead furrowed even more. "What's this?" he asked, confused. Without waiting for an answer, he slowly opened the book. A black and white photo and the doctor's writing greeted his eyes. "This...?" Altezza stared at the book, then at his wife in turns.

"Where are the elixirs?" A tall shadow on the floor crossed Adeline's barely open eyes. The shadow was of a bulky man, his frame strong and sturdy, and on his hand was a whip. When his deep voice reached Adeline's faraway consciousness, the hairs at the back of her neck stood up. She clenched her fist in anger, despite losing every inch of her being. "We... don't have... such thing," Adeline replied in a hoarse voice, gritting her teeth.

"They have, ever since she was born." Cassandra set the little serpent among the piles of gold coins. The creature sagged in defeat and exhaustion after lying before that terrible fire. "There it is," Vasilisa's voice came from behind a mountain of walnut-sized raw rubies. It wasn't hard to find the book. It was placed on a golden stand in between two golden Sirin statues. The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing.

Adeline was shocked. “Are these werewolves able to read minds?” Adeline thought in her mind. “We can't read minds but it's written all over your face. Your expressions are kinda readable.” Josephine told her how they can tell what's going on in her mind. When Adeline was back in Allister house everyone was happy to have her back. She noticed only Vasili was missing there. So she excused herself and went to meet her husband. When she opened the door the room was dark and it was filled with smoke.

I picked up the book and opened the first page, which had been aged. I couldn't tell how long this must have been here. The first page I opened was blank. This prompted me to open the second page; it was practically empty, just like the first. I continued opening until the fifth page because I was counting the number of pages as I flipped

Anna looked down and found her feet buried knee-deep in snow. She looks around to see herself in the middle of a snowy taiga, the full moon at its peak and illuminating the dark forest. “Where am I?” she whispers to herself. It took much effort to move her feet and traverse the deep snow. As she walked around, she felt uncomfortable with the eerie silence. There was no noise at all. Still, she kept going. Anna arrives at a small clearing, where the shine of the full moon rests on an array of large rocks. She approaches the rocks for no clear reason and finds a wolf on the ground. Whimpering. Breathing weakly.

Amira, a young woman of ethereal beauty, lay in peaceful slumber upon the silken sheets, her chest rising and falling with each tranquil breath. Drawn to her like a moth to a flame, the vampire approached with a hushed reverence. As my face got close, the cover flipped open and pages began to turn. It stopped at a page in the middle and I looked closer to realize that everything was in a different language, Latin, maybe. As

Adeline has to live in a world full of betrayals, problems, and mistakes with a bit of miracle. Adeline woke up the next day after the alarm sounded. From what she remembered, she never had an alarm clock. Therefore, where did that loud and annoying sound come from? She suddenly hears a groan. A man’s morning groan. She gathered her thoughts before realizing she’s not in her apartment. She’s at someone else’s and she didn’t know whose. Adeline could feel the bed moving and she’s lying to it, although she’s not the one moving. She carefully turned her head on the right side to see who’s sleeping right next to her, and a piercing scream broke the morning silence.
