She picked up a book from the bookshelf and started to read it. She stopped thinking about everything else as she became immersed in her book. She didn't realize how much time had passed before the door opened abruptly. She nearly dropped her book on the floor as it made a loud noise, and Damien barged in. Not yet. I turned onto my side, eyes landing on my nightstand. The book I’d finished last two weeks still sat there—Haunting Adeline. It had been a ride, to say the least. Dark, twisted, and completely unhinged. I grabbed the book and traced the cover absentmindedly, my mind still spinning from the way it had ended. And Zade? God. That man was insane, but in the best way. I couldn't even count how many times I had to pause and process the things he said.

Chapter 1: Run "Run. If I catch you, I’ll fuck you." I closed my book and hugged it close to my chest, kicking my feet up in the air as I screamed. Oh God, to be Adeline right now, chased, Caught and wanted that badly. My blanket hung forgotten by my bed stand, my crop top riding up as I sprawled across my bed in nothing but my underwear. I began to look through the bookshelf some more and came across a book that looked like it did not belong here. Ahah! I opened the book to find, yet again, some blank pages. I surfaced my wolf and extended my claws before I pricked myself and allowed some blood to drop onto the pages. Nothing happened. Damn it. As I was about to shut the book, blood from my mother which got onto my palm when I was lifting her from the wall, accidentally smeared itself on the book. The book glowed again and soon enough I was back in Adelina’s bedroom. Huh.
