Alexander~ My mind was going through different things at a time, I couldn’t find her in the midst of so many people, no one seemed to have seen her. It was as though she became invincible. “What do you mean you can’t find Adeline?” Eva asked me worriedly, I couldn’t respond to her. I ran out to the main entrance where I’m the security members were stationed “Have you see this lady walk out of here?” I asked, showing them a picture of Adeline on my phone, they took turns in looking at the picture but none of them seemed to have seen her.

His words were cut short when he noticed the figure standing in front of the car. Enzo could see her clearly. Adeline stood there with her arm bleeding heavily. Her hair was tousled, and her clothes stained with dirt and blood. Her eyes were filled with exhaustion and pain, but even in such a state, she looked extremely beautiful, which made Enzo freeze. Enzo felt a strange sensation stir within him—something unfamiliar. It was like a spark had ignited deep inside and a feeling he couldn’t quite place. He shook his head, dismissing the odd feeling, and turned to Andrei, "Honk the horn. She needs to move."

However, I soon realised that she wasn’t staring at me, she was staring at the person behind me, the shooter. I turned to see Rade. His eyes sparkled and he opened the car door, helping me out.
