The Alpha King Is Our Daddy

The Alpha King Is Our Daddy

My wolf lunges against my ribs, desperate to close the distance. “Vincent,” she says, her voice soft but clear, like she’s testing me. “Didn’t expect to see you here.” The crowd quiets, sensing the shift. Mathias straightens, his arm sliding protectively around the boys. My blood boils. “Adeline,” I say, my voice low, dangerous. “You’re a long way from the border.” She lifts her chin, not backing down. “It’s a festival. Thought the boys would enjoy it.”

My Mate From Another World

My Mate From Another World

It wasn’t confirmed yet, but in our world, it wasn’t impossible either, especially when that man made a deal with the devil or was the devil himself. We ended the day. Hendrix and Hunt went back to their work while we drove back to the pack house after we made sure that Milka was fully recovered. She was supposed to go home, but she insisted on coming with me. I thought it was because she wanted me to come to her when I was pulled into Kaiser’s world, but I was wrong. “I saw you, Adeline,” she said after I closed the door when we entered my room. “What?” I asked, “I saw you standing next to the man who was found dead at your border.”

Rejected By Alpha, Chased By Lycan King

Rejected By Alpha, Chased By Lycan King

Everything was a chaotic mess. It was 4 am and I had just been, once again, blocked out by Delilah when someone kicked my door open. Looking over my shoulder, I found disheveled and groggy Adeline entering in haste. Her eyes were wide and she rushed straight in our direction in a hurry. Lucas rose to his feet, reached her with quick strides, and cupped her cheeks, "What happened, baby? Was it a nightmare?" Adeline grabbed his hands holding her face and whispered in shock, "Witches are not the only ones who can summon up the portals."

Fallen From Grace [Married to the Mafia Novel]

Fallen From Grace [Married to the Mafia Novel]

“Adeline, come on!” Warm liquid seeps through Adeline’s clothes, and into the ground. I make quick work to press my hands as firmly as I can to the two holes in her body. The crimson liquid coats my arms in a matter of seconds, as the life drains out of her. “No, no, no. Please, say something Adie.” But Adeline stays still no matter how much I shake her. My vision blurs as my tears overflow, falling to Adeline’s cheeks, and that’s when I finally notice her eyes… lifeless and dull.

Disgraced Ex-wife; Reborn With Fire

Disgraced Ex-wife; Reborn With Fire

“Since Adeline doesn't want to play fair, let’s not do that too…” “As expected.” His lips curled, ever so slightly but it was a dangerous curve, ready to stab. He snapped his fingers in the air, his assistant caught the notion and it was moving. I never expected Adeline to make such a reckless move by approaching Shaw. I thought she was smart, but it turned out she was just a cunning bimbo, expecting things to fall in her lap because she could just speak a few words. Just as I expected, the phones of the guests started to buzz. They received the package one by one. Adeline’s shameful video of meeting up with Shaw was now everywhere, guests zooming into her cleavage to see what she had to off

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

Kaden’s eyes glazed over as he mind linked his men, and half of them took off with Dylan’s corpse. When I glanced back at the tree where he was laid against, I could see no trace of whatever transpired left. It’s as if it never happened. Even the scent vanished when they took away his corpse. Then, I felt Adeline grow uneasy. “That feeling earlier…” she reminded me, “I’m starting to think it wasn’t Colton that we sensed earlier…” she spoke. I raised my brow at her, “What are you suggesting?” I could feel Adeline’s contemplation, going silent for a few moments.

Love the story, writing was intense and keeps the storyline moving. I just would have like to have seen the family reunion. Overall amazing writing but be ready for some intense scenes that can trigger some of you. Happy reading!

Needs a little editing, but still really interesting. The author has a way of storytelling that helps you fully immerse yourself in the story. The FMC is the typical weak to strong, but the story has tons of potential. I hope the writer doesn't intend to rely on clichés/tropes.

When the heart breaks twice

When the heart breaks twice

"If anything, it makes things simpler." "Simpler how?" "Now you don't have any reason to stay married to me." Adeline's face crumpled. "You're a monster." She pushed past me and went to get dressed. A few minutes later, she came back downstairs and left with the police officers. After they were gone, I went back upstairs to Rebecca. She was sitting up in bed, looking worried. "I heard voices," she said. "What happened?" "Adeline's mother is dead," I said.

Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable

Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable

At the Hampton estate, Penelope stood in her closet choosing a dress when the bedroom door burst open. Adeline stormed in with a stormy face and dragged her downstairs. "What are you doing, Mom?" Penelope struggled. "Are you insane?" "You're the insane one!" Adeline hissed. "The Sterling family came calling, and you're fussing over your looks? If you die later, who will care whether you were a beauty or a pile of ashes?" "Madam Sterling is here?" Penelope's smile sharpened. She thought she had the upper hand. "Shut up." Adeline looked like she wanted to slap her instead. "If you die and drag us down with you, I'll make you pay."

so far I love how strong Sydney is and all she needs now is the devoted man to make everything else set in stone. she doesn't need a man but her having one completely devoted to her will make this story perfect, but it is really good so far.

This book needs to pick up speed. One chapter a day is slow to say the least. Not to mention that new story lines are constantly being added without completely ending older stories and developed characters seem to disappear. Is this an author issue or an app issue to secure reader subscriptions?

Fated to the Beast

Fated to the Beast

The curtains waved gently behind her. Rain and Jace waited for a few minutes. They could smell the tea leaves brewing and some warm cakes from baking. "I don't like it here! We're just wasting time. We'd better hurry to your father's apartment!" Jace got up from the knitted sofa. "But, this is rude! At least I want to sip the tea!" Rain was annoyed because she was very thirsty and hungry. Adaline stirred the tea in a white cup coated with gold paint. Her smile grew as her left hand spun a grain of powder that no one knew what it was. Her lips kept humming as if she was chanting a spell.

HAUNTING EMILY

HAUNTING EMILY

“Right now your aunt needs our help, and the longer we take to save her, the more dangerous things become. All I need is for you to tell me every–” She opened the door, staring at me with those cold looking eyes that felt like she was going to do worse than just killing me. “There were four of them, all dressed in black tuxedos. And a fifth, also in black, but he had a cane and a hat that barely covered his eyes. Aunt Emi asked me to hide in my room, but I heard every conversation they had that night. It seemed like she knew them, only that she didn't expect to see them in such weird appearance.” “The guy in hat, you didn't see his face, did you?” I asked, and she shook her head.
