It has pay attention written all over his face. Hawk is a good player, he’s played a few teams now including Vancouver, Vegas and now Austin which is where he is from. Rumour has it that he plans to retire after the upcoming season to spend more time with his wife and their newborn. He’s a big lump of a guy and stands in around six five. He’s always been a tough one on the ice so to know he will be one of my wing men fills me with confidence.

Alpha Ezekeil's Claim

Alpha Ezekeil's Claim

Everyone present in the ballroom gathered around to take pictures and praise it. Once it got enough of the attention, it flew from mom's hands and settled down back on my shoulder. Hawks are known to be carnivorous hunters and very big in shape and size. “Woah, what am amazing sound it makes” everyone gushed as it quietly settled down on my shoulder. “Have you had enough?” I spoke to him softly. It looked at me for few seconds before once again focusing on everything else. “Mom, do you need any help with the preparations?” I asked.

The Accused Mate

The Accused Mate

POV: The Raven (The Mother's Spy) I dodged the arrow that whistled past my wing feathers. Too close! The dog guard below had good aim, but not good enough. I circled higher, my black wings catching the afternoon sunshine. Being a raven had its perks. No one ever accuses a bird of spying. I've watched these wolves for months now, sitting on windowsills, perching on tree branches, listening to every secret, every plan. And my true boss, The Mother, was pleased with what I'd learned.

“Shit will hit the fan, eventually. Plus, I heard that the Hawks want to ignore fated mates and push for matched mates. Ones that will increase power.” “Seriously?” Brett’s jaw was on the floor as the waitress put down two fried pickles, something fried in a circle, and there were fries with some seasoning on them. “I’ll be back with ketchup, more ranch and other food.” She looked around before walking out. “I heard the Hawks want their alpha daughter to mate with Cade or Maddox.” Beau chimed in. “Dad isn’t going to go for that.” “No, and that’s the problem. Alpha Kyle has the most say. Yet, if the Hawks convince the Valley to join them…. it will be a full war.” Hayden raised his eyebrows as

Claimed by havoc

Claimed by havoc

“Ghost.” “No,” I close the tablet. “Someone wanted us chasing ghosts.” The convoy slows as an iron gate appears in the rain ahead—The De Luca estate. Floodlights illuminate thirty-foot walls, watchtowers, snipers, armored guards—enough firepower to repel an army. Good; they’re cautious. That means they’re alive. One SUV advances to speak with the guards, weapons immediately aimed at us. No one in my vehicle reacts. The gate remains closed for nearly three minutes—long enough to test my patience. Then, they begin to open.

Dark Horse

Dark Horse

Standing outside, in the glare of the afternoon sun, was Luke Hawkins, looking vibrant, wearing a cheerful smile like always. Rolling her eyes, she slid the chain entirely and opened the door. His pea green eyes assessed her and fell on the stupid robe that had parted a bit, showing a hint of cleavage. Being the stupid flirt he was, he said "looking smashing as always, b. Did you do that on purpose? " She laughed, ignoring his stare and hugged him. Not knowing someone had a crush on you was something ,but when you knew, it was 80% awkward. Luke had had a crush on her since she met him and his flirty attitude didn't help.

The Age Plus Billionaire Cowboy

The Age Plus Billionaire Cowboy

Ava and Hawk Calhoun had strode into the Town Club in Three Forks, a town thirty-three minutes from Townsend, arm in arm. A few guys greeted Hawk as soon as they had walked in. Hawk had introduced her to them and then they had grabbed a table for two in a nice cozy corner. They ordered beer, wings, and potato wedges.

Stepbrothers Raven

Stepbrothers Raven

"What is Hawk, Waysley or whatever they are called really like? Can they be trusted?" They stare at me shocked. "Don't lie, I just want to know for Ava." "Hawk has never done relationships. Typically women to him are there for sex, nothing more and the women know it. Hawk is about thirty-eight. Having said that though Raven, from what Big Bear said Hawk was different, so he likes her enough to want to date her." Grayson's words ease my worries slightly. "He wouldn't hurt her Raven. The women he was with were told beforehand to expect nothing. He will be upfront with Ava, although I sense he wants more than just sex this time." Grayson smiles, and I should have known they wouldn’t leave Ava t

Hunting Their Defiant Luna

There was so much I needed and wanted to yell at him, but something about the manic look in his eyes had me snapping my mouth shut. "He is not the same Hugo we ran from Aurora. Step carefully!" Ava blubbers in a warning making me wince. She was correct; he reminds me of a documentary I had watched years ago about great white sharks and how they are one of the world's most dangerous predators. The show showed people going down in cages to the bottom of the ocean letting great whites stalk the cage before trying to attack the metal bars.

Shubby Doo
Don’t read these.the chapters are all over the place. Story sequence is poor. Author badly mishandles that topics of SA. Always a cliffhanger to do with abuse either physical or sexual. No maturity or sensitivity on how to handle the brutality of the subject.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hawks are powerful symbols across cultures, often representing vision, strength, insight, and spiritual awareness. Their commanding presence in the sky has inspired meanings that range from practical instincts to deep metaphysical truths. Here’s what hawks commonly symbolize:

1. Clear Vision and Focus Hawks are known for their exceptional eyesight—up to eight times sharper than a human's. As a symbol, this represents clarity, foresight, and the ability to see the bigger picture. Seeing a hawk may remind you to stay focused on your goals and trust your long-term vision.

2. Power and Independence As apex predators, hawks symbolize strength, self-reliance, and leadership. They don’t follow; they soar solo and act decisively. In personal or professional contexts, hawks encourage bold, independent action.

3. Intuition and Spiritual Awareness Many spiritual traditions associate hawks with higher consciousness. Because they fly high yet remain sharply aware of the ground below, hawks embody a balance between spiritual insight and practical awareness. They’re often seen as messengers from the spiritual realm or signs to trust your inner voice.

4. Protection and Guardianship In Native American and Celtic cultures, hawks are considered protective spirits. Their sharp eyes and strong presence make them symbols of guardianship, often watching over individuals during times of transition or uncertainty.

5. Messages and Guidance Spotting a hawk can be interpreted as a form of divine or intuitive guidance. Many believe hawks appear when you need to pay attention to signs around you or make an important decision. In mythology, hawks often serve as messengers between the human and spiritual realms.

6. Transformation and New Beginnings Because hawks fly at great heights and shift direction swiftly, they are also seen as symbols of personal transformation, freedom, and the courage to embrace change. Their presence can signal that a new phase of life is beginning, urging you to rise above challenges with perspective and strength.

Summary In essence, hawks symbolize:

Clarity and vision

Strength and independence

Intuition and spiritual connection

Protection and guidance

Transformation and new beginnings

Whether appearing in dreams, nature, or spiritual teachings, hawks serve as reminders to rise above distractions, trust your instincts, and keep your eyes on what truly matters.
