TO: Kira.Killer.Hanson@Tomlinson.com, Lacy.Lace.Graham@Tomlinson.com FROM: Hayley.Hailstorm.Anderson@Tomlinson.com SUBJECT: Missing you guys so much _________________________________________________________________________ Hey girls Okay, so I stole Liam’s phone again thought I think he’s just letting me have it at the moment. I’m currently stuck in his room, hiding from truck-sized men. Long story…

Liam had broken Yarden's ribs. "Ahhhhh!" Without missing a beat, Liam stepped on Yarden's chest, pinning the latter to the ground, and glared down at him from his towering height. "Yarden Knowles, the heir of the respectable Knowles family, eh? I'd very much like to see what you have in store for me!"

He has a similar medium tan build with a slim, muscular physique like Aiden. Liam has two siblings. An elder sister named Elena is the same age as Luke and Daniel, and a younger brother named Ashton. He is ten. Aside from being very sarcastic and charming, he is a lovable goofball. He is a total pain in the ass when he pairs up with his dimwit buddy. ***** Ann and I have known Liam and Aiden since childhood, as their fathers are best friends with my father and Ann's. Trust me when I say don't be fooled by their good looks.

She never acts that way around me! For the next three minutes, she tries to figure out how to receive the video call. “Is mommy not beside you?” Liam's voice echoed in the room.“She is listening, daddy” Soon, Liam's face appears on my screen, he looks so good even in the early morning. His hair is wet and a towel is hanging on his shoulder. He looks fresh out of the shower which is not good for my heart. “Can you drop me at school from now on? Liam let out a chuckle and nodded his head. “Of course” for the next twenty minutes, Willow and Liam's facetime talking about almost everything I couldn't remember.

No more echoes of command or threat, just the soft hum of life beginning again. From my bed, I could see the mountains through the window. Morning light spilled across the sheets, warm and golden, carrying the sound of laughter from outside, Anastasia’s voice, chasing one of the gamma’s son through the courtyard. For the first time in what felt like years, it was laughter that didn’t sound like a defense. Liam stood near the cradle, shoulders relaxed, hair a mess from sleepless nights. He looked down at the small bundle in his arms like the world had just given him something he didn’t quite believe he deserved.

They guided the Ahmed family into the house and helped them settle. Liam, who had been hanging back, took a steadying breath and approached the group, his hands at his sides. “Mr. Ahmed,” he began, his voice steady but his heart hammering, “I am Liam. Zahir and Zian’s college friend… and, uh…Mir- uh- Zada’s boyfriend.” Zayed’s sharp eyes settled on him immediately, narrowing ever so slightly. “So, you are the one my daughter has been spending time with?” He asked, a hint of challenge in his tone.

“It was great! I made a friend!” Penelope beamed. “That’s wonderful, Anya! I told you you’d like it.” Anya nodded. “His name is Liam, and he gave me candy because I gave everyone cake!” Penelope laughed. “That was very sweet of him.” Brayden, who had just arrived home from the company, overheard the conversation and walked over. “Who’s this Liam?” Anya looked up at him. “He’s my new friend, Daddy!” Brayden’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Friend, huh?”

“We’ve set up perimeters all around and yet they still managed to break in. Had my son not been on patrol last night –“ “Yes, yes, we’re all safe thanks to Liam. All hail Liam,” Hayden chuckles, settling onto the leather lounge chair with hands crossed behind his head. My second in command is way more relaxed than Zion, even though he is half his age. “Are you mocking me, Hayden?” Zion arches his brow, he does not appreciate being made fun of. The man has no sense of humour. I sigh, this is going nowhere. I rap my knuckles against the desktop, bringing both men’s attention my way. “We’re all grateful to your son Zion. We are indebted to Liam and I will personally thank him later.”

So irritating. “I thought I heard voices. Do you guys want anything to eat, or have you already done that?” Liam props himself up on his elbows. “Hi Mrs H.” He beams at her, he’s such a creep honestly. “We’re good. Tate fixed us a sandwich earlier.” “Okay you two. What’s on today’s agenda?”

These must be her brothers. Leah confirmed Ray’s thoughts. “Everyone, these are my brothers.” She pointed to the three blonds, pointing them out one by one. “This is Max. Then there’s Tristan, and Axel.” Last she pointed to the red haired man. “And last but not least, there’s Gabriel.” While Leah was introducing her brothers, Ray, Jagger, and Dallas had shifted back to human and put on a pair of shorts Francesca brought to them.
