His hair was short with a little curl in it. "You got my book yet?" He asked very eagerly. His book order was late for the third time. But finally, it arrived. "Actually yes it is. It came in this morning. Let me go grab it." I walked to the storage room that I had them build in while I was renovating the place. Once I grabbed his book called The Host. I walked back in to see him aiming a gun at me. The book dropped out of my hands and I slowly put my hands up in the air.

I whispered. My voice was breaking, and there was nothing I could do about it. He sighed and leaned forward, placing his hand on the partition. “Crying won't get those people down or get me out of this damned place," he muttered, and I sniffled. I wiped the tears that dropped and took a deep breath before sitting up. “I found this," I said and brought out the book. He smiled grimly as he stared at the large book in my hand. "Oh…" he murmured.

But the moment his gaze went down to the book in my hand and his eyes hardened instantly. “That book. Where did you find it?” I swallowed hard. I didn't like where this was going at all. “It was opened when I saw it on the shelf.” “That’s impossible.” I heard him whisper. Alexander's hand reached out to touch the book but he recoiled his hands. As if it stung. "Where exactly did you find this book Aquamarine?" he asked again, but slowly this time. I hesitated. "I told you, it was on the shelf in your study."

He was here for me. "How did you find me?" I asked, keeping my voice steady. "I’m sorry," he said, his voice deep and laced with something primal that made Nira whimper. You.” I couldn’t help but chuckle at his cheesy line. “Smooth.” “Hey, I aim to please,” he said with a wink. I rolled my eyes playfully. “The library is my usual haunt, so it’s no surprise you found me here.” He nodded, glancing around at the rows of books. “Want me to help you look for that book?” I offered. He shook his head. “No need. They don’t have it, so I’ll have to try somewhere else.” With a nod, I turned back to the book in front of me.

Michael had prepared it specifically for me, and this wasn’t just about me anymore. A moment later, he kissed me on the lips. It was warm, and it managed to calm me down. Days passed, and I opened my eyes from the strong shaking of the bed. I saw Felix smiling beside me, holding up a beautifully designed book. “Mom, do you know that I found this really nice book?” I looked at the book again and finally nodded. “That’s a really good book, Felix.” He nodded repeatedly. “Mom, I found this book in the library of this house.
