I tried to wake him up. He slowly opens his bloodshot eyes and meets mine. “Good news.” My brow arched, confused at what he meant. “I found the lawyer.”

He said softly. I opened my eyes unsure of what to expect but what I saw next totally blew my mind.

His brows furrowed in discomfort and he let out a groan as he moved his body up what felt like a bed. When he had his body sat up, he pressed on his eyes to get his sight back, then he tried again. He opened his eyes and glanced around the room, though slightly blurry, he didn't miss the two figures that stood in front of the bed with their mouths open

He was still clinging onto her tight when she opened her eyes and she saw that she was back in her old home. “You can open your eyes now.” She said to him in a whisper.

Echo’s Pov: My eyes flinched as the soft skin on the shutter of my eyes felt the bright illumination of the light which compelled me to twitch my brows and open my eyes towards it. As I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was the blue eyes gazing at me with an evil smirk. “You're up,” the same guy said as he untied the ropes from my hands and then threw the ropes with his full energy to one of the corner of the room.

He stood up to walk with a frown to the front door. He turned the doorknob, and his eyes popped open.

Kelan's POV I discovered that my mind was becoming more active than it was. Just as my routine was every time I became conscious, I tried opening my eyes. I had tried many times and it never worked but this time, my eyes slowly opened. At first the light hurt my eyes and I shut it back quickly. The joy that filled my heart knew no bounds. I couldn't believe that after months of laying there, I was able to at least open my eyes. Although my eyes didn't adjust to the light immediately, I tried it again and again before I saw what shocked me.
