The Moon's Descendant

The Moon's Descendant

Smith slowed down and turned to look at me over his shoulder, “We’re here” he stepped to the side so I could see the full field. “Wow” I gasped. It was beautiful. The field was covered in flowers, there were patches of pink, purple, and yellow, the smell filled my nose. I walked forward into the field brushing my hands along the flower bushes. I turned to look at Smith. He was standing with his arms crossed watching me with a huge, satisfied smile on his face. “This is amazing” I gleamed at him.

The story is really good! The writer seemed to be learning how to tell the story from two perspectives. At first the author rewrote whole scenes but listened to readers and adapted it a little better. Still some time jump with perspective changes. Zelena has so many powers it seems a lil contrived.

I take his hand and step out. "We are in a flower field. The farmers here grow all sorts of flowers, and we can explore the gardens," he informs me. I smile at him, looking around. "Shall we?" I nod and interlock our fingers as we climb a hill through the wide gravel route. After walking a few minutes, I stop, my breath lodging in my throat. Flowers. So many. Of all sorts in different extensive gardens. As far as the eyes can see. It's amazing! I've never seen so many beautiful flowers in such a capacity. "Wow," "Cool?" he asks. " Romantic," I grin.

Dreaming of Flowers

Dreaming of Flowers

They continued to appear around where I sat as I watched. "Delilah!" I hear Erik calling for me. I look up and can see him maybe half a mile away. I stay quiet, he'll see me eventually. I just keep my eyes on the flowers around me. They were starting to creep towards the tree now, and about three inches in front of me. I wasn't even crying anymore. I was still sniffly, but that was it. He actually almost walks by me, but I look up at him as he's walking by, and he jumps with recognition. He is already looking at the giant circle of flowers around me that are now crawling up the tree I had been leaning against.

My Finance's Brother's Forbidden Game

My Finance's Brother's Forbidden Game

Under different circumstances, this could have been a calming walk: the grass under the sole of my sandals, the warm sun on my skin, the scent of flowers in the air… It was a beautiful summer morning but it didn’t feel like it. The gazebo stood like a delicate pearl in the midst of all the luscious greenery. Rays of sunlight filtered in through the canopy of climbing roses that twisted around the arches. The air within heavily scented from all the flowers in bloom. And in the midst of all that beauty and calmness sat Brayden… who was still in a fucking three piece suit. He didn’t look up at me from the paper he was reading but he heard the sole of my sandals slap against the floorboards of t

My summer crush

My summer crush

Instead my breath caught. Because the hand holding mine wasn't unfamiliar. It was larger. Warmer. My eyes lifted slowly. And froze. Christien. Everything around me seemed to disappear for half a second. The music. The crowd. The conversations. Gone. Just him. Standing directly in front of me. Close enough to touch. Close enough to remind me exactly how long a week could feel. Neither of us spoke. The dance continued around us. People moving. Laughing. Switching. Yet somehow we remained exactly where we were.

Royal Sins

Royal Sins

Philip pointed ahead. “There’s someone in that garden.” Atlas glanced toward the fields. At first he saw nothing. Then the carriage moved closer. And Atlas saw him. A man stood in a garden beside the road. He was pruning a row of flowers. The sun hung low in the sky, casting golden light across the field. The man’s sleeves were rolled to his elbows. Dark hair fell slightly over his eyes. He paused and pushed the hair back absently while working on the flowers. For a moment, Atlas forgot to breathe. How can a man look this cute ? He thought.

Passionately Devoted to Loving You

Passionately Devoted to Loving You

He took a look at the time, and Ben pointed at the small garden behind the square. Summer nodded. "It seems very lively there." Melody also smiled and motioned to her assistant to put the clothes and gifts in the car first. She then went out with the two children. "Wow, it's full of roses. It’s so beautiful." It was noisy outside, and many people were watching. Summer was also taken aback. There were a lot of roses. "Someone’s proposing! Let’s go and take a look!" Summer took a few steps forward with a hand over her belly. Someone was proposing…

actually this book shouldn't be tagged with marriage, obsession, love-triangle or anything related to romance. it should be something like crime, suspense, investigation, mystery... because most of the long winded ones aren't about the romance but the crimes & business rivals

Hidden Scars

Hidden Scars

The bulge in his pants doesn't go unnoticed by me but I pretend not to look. "Shall we?". I smiled at him. "Yes. We shall". . . 💙💛💜Minutes Later💙💛💜 It was quiet and really beautiful just like a well tended garden with exotic flowers in it. He held my hand leading me further into it and I gasped seeing the flowers light up in different colors at once all around us. I glanced around taking in the view. It was a sight to behold, really breathtaking. "Do you like it?". He asked, almost lowly.

Mated To My Promised Alpha

Mated To My Promised Alpha

I taunt as he gives me another drool worthy smile, looking even better all wet, if that is even possible to believe. He rolls his eyes playfully, standing up and stepping out of the fountain, a mix of flowers clinging to him as his see-through shirt reveals those delicious defined muscles of his. Goddess, who looks like that in real life, seriously? As he steps towards me, I feel my heart flutter. “Let me help you with these,” I say, picking off some flowers that have clung to his body and hair.

I Want You Back

I Want You Back

His excitement was palpable even through text, and I already knew this wouldn’t be easy. When the time came, I was at the square, sitting on a bench with Summer waiting a few meters away for backup if I needed it. The campus was bustling with students laughing and chatting, but everything faded into the background when I saw Caleb approaching. He wore a wide smile, clutching a small bouquet of wildflowers in his hands, his short dreadlocks swaying in the breeze, his faded printed T-shirt rumpled as usual. He looked… happy. Enthusiastic. Like this was a date.
