Healing Hearts Scrubs Novels & Stories

I whispered, turning to look at Mason as Scarlett performed a healing spell on him. "He was drugged with so much silver and achenka. It is a miracle he survived," she said, cradling his head as he began stirring up. All I wanted was for him to stay and make it out alive. Then Draven hushed everyone before placing his ear on my stomach. "Do you hear that?" he asked, and that is when I heard it, and given the squeal from mom and Jaxon, they heard too. "Two heartbeats—I can hear them."

I lied, making sure not to meet Alex’s suspecting gaze. “I’m sorry about that,” Scarlett breathed sympathetically, reaching out to rub the bruise on my collarbone tenderly. Her touch sent an unbelievable wave of energy rushing through me and I felt the burn wounds getting soothed and healed in that moment. When she pulled away, it took everything in me not to grab her hand and place it over my heart in hopes that she could also heal the endless turmoil within it. The fact that she had a healing touch made the words of all the sorcerers and elders I’d visited finally make sense.

After that, Trixie and her fairies tried everything they could to heal him. When they saw a scan of his heart, it looked as if Alaia imprinted her hand on it. Psycho! I wished I could bring Alaia to life just to kill her again. James didn’t care much about the scar. He calls it a reminder of what we had to endure to get here. He was just happy to be here, and so was I. “You shouldn’t be out of bed, James. Trixie said it could take a while for your heart to heal, and the best way is to rest.”

Using the basic Vampire gift Scarlett says in a soft tone, “This is Alexander Nathaniel’s second head warrior and they are Victor’s second response team, they will take care of him.” Scarlett gets Elizabeth to stand and back away from Duke allowing the healing team to access him, then when he gets the go-ahead from the team Alexander bends down, picks up Duke and places him on the stretcher the healing team had brought in with them and then helps them carry him through to the hospital. As Scarlett leads Elizabeth out of the theatre room she turns back to Katrina, Whitney, Ava, River and Skylar and says, “Sorry for the interruption…” Skylar takes a deep breath and says,

I shake out of his strong arms, making my way in the direction of the hospital. “And put on some damn pants, Clown!” I order him, making him chuckle as I take off running to the hospital. - - - I walk out of the operating room next to Richard. Yaya rushes over to us, her fingers red from her picking at them. Archie stands behind her, offering her comfort and support. “He was stabbed in the heart, Yaya. You healed him enough with your magic for us to get him here,” Richard explains, running his hands through his messy, brown hair.

"I've printed all the detailed materials, Mr. Weber. You should read it yourself. "If I have to put it into simple words, Ms. Shirley had a very hard life." After Adrian left, Scott and Devin flipped through photos taken during my time at the psychiatric hospital. When they saw how skeletal and broken I was near the end, the two grown men broke down weeping like children. Suddenly, a thought struck Devin. He dug through the medical records until he found my final resuscitation log. When his eyes fell on the bold words "Maternal Death Due to Severe Postpartum Hemorrhage", he completely broke down.

"Elara." She set the book aside. “Yes?” “I’m scared.” “Of what?” “That I’ll lose this. You.” “You won’t,” she said softly, moving to sit beside him. He looked at her like she was the only thing left holding him to the earth. His voice trembled. “What if I’m never fully healed?” She placed her hand on his chest, right over his heart. “You are healing. Every day. You’re already more than what they left behind.”

she said, shaking her head but smiling nonetheless. As the evening went on, the three played together and filled the house with laughter and joy. For the first time in years, Sabrina felt completeness that she hadn't realized she missed so much. Even with her nagging doubts, moments like these reminded her that healing might not be so far beyond her reach after all. She lay in bed, staring at the ceiling that night, as her thoughts swirled like a madwoman's mind. She had been protecting her heart for too long, not wanting to hurt again, but maybe it was time to tear down those walls, brick by brick.

Heart's Healing Luna woke slowly, her magic instinctively checking Tank's condition before her eyes even opened. When she saw him sitting up, alive and healing, the tears came instantly. They fell down her face as he smiled her way. "Uncle Tank!" She threw herself into his arms, her small body shaking with sobs. "You scared me so bad!" He rubbed her little back and kissed her head. "Hey now, princess." Tank's gruff voice was gentle as he held her close. His scarred face softened as her magic unconsciously created protective shields around them both. "I'm okay. Thanks to my brave little healer." She sniffles as he holds her.

"When someone you love collapses in front of you your mind goes to the worst place before your heart has time to catch up." Aiden looked at Nicholas, then at Scarlett. Then at me, then at Valeria pressed against his shoulder. "So I'm not dying?" he asked. "You're not dying," Scarlett said, squeezing his hand. "You have a heart condition. I know that sounds frightening. But we found it early and that matters more than almost anything else." "The medicine is already helping," Nicholas said. "That's why you felt better after they gave it to you." "And now we know how to protect your heart," Scarlett said. "That's the whole point of knowing."
