Shadows of the Past

Shadows of the Past

I hesitated to continue, but the strong desire to see her asleep was stronger than reason. I approached the bed where she slept in the greatest silence. The moonlight was discreetly streaming through the half-open blinds. A pale ray of light caressed her soft face. She was perfect when she slept, more beautiful than the Queen of the Night. I wished I could caress her and smell her pleasant scent, but I didn’t want to frighten her. I just wanted to leave because something kept me there, next to her. When I got even closer, I noticed she was naked. The only thing keeping me from taking in her whole body with my eyes was a white silk sheet.

Mated to the Night Wolf

Mated to the Night Wolf

•|•|• Who is most dear to you? Tell me pup, are they more precious than diamonds, of far more worth than gold? Would you give everything? For is that not what they are— Everything? •|•|• [SHADE SHADOWS] Silence lingers between us. I go so still that one would mistake this moment for a painting brought to life. My heart hammers within me as fast as a drum, taken aback by the dead look in his eye.

Lisa
Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

They pressed themselves against the stone walls, their heartbeats frantic as the Shadow Queen passed, her presence a heavy, suffocating weight of violet starlight. Silas followed her, his own aura a golden-and-sapphire shield. He didn't try to stop her. He knew that the fire in her soul was the only thing that could burn through the rot of the pack’s history. But his mind was already moving ahead, connecting the final dots of the "Medical Treason."

The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

I screamed, my hands trembling as I watched the massive thumb of the Sculptor press down on the center of Silas’s chest plate. --- ## Chapter 55: The Weight of the Sculptor's Clay The **First Shadow** stood between me and the rift, his brass face twisted into a look of triumph that made my blood boil. He didn't seem bothered by the presence of the Sculptor; in fact, he looked like he was basking in its cold, sterile light. "It’s beautiful, isn't it?" the First Shadow whispered, his violet eyes dancing with a sick, ancient joy. "The return of the Absolute. No more glitches. No more 'Red Blood.' No more love. Just the perfect, unchanging silence of the marble."

Tangled in Silk

Tangled in Silk

Chapter 13: Whispers Behind Glass Walls The silence in the office was the worst kind the kind that felt too aware, too orchestrated. Lana’s heels clicked sharply on the marble tiles as she walked into the tenth-floor workspace of Silken Group. Heads didn’t turn, but she could feel the weight of every pair of eyes. Watching. Whispering. She adjusted the strap of her bag on her shoulder and held her chin high. A receptionist gave her a strained smile. “Good morning, Miss Valen.”

In The Shadows Of Love

In The Shadows Of Love

"How can you sleep so peacefully with a stranger in your house?" He noticed the way her hair fell over her face like a curtain of silky locks. The dim light of the moon streaming through the window casted a glow on her smooth, unblemished skin. He watched as her chest rose with each breath she took and how the thin fabric of her gown barely concealed the gentle curves of her body.

Shadows Of Desire

Shadows Of Desire

“Let them. We’re ending this tonight.” The old church loomed in the moonlight, its silhouette stark against the night sky. Sophie and Alex crept towards it, the weight of the journal heavy in Sophie’s bag. The air was thick with tension, every shadow seeming to hide a threat. They pushed open the creaking doors, the sound echoing in the empty space. The interior was dark, illuminated only by the faint moonlight streaming through the stained glass windows. Dust motes danced in the air, and the smell of damp wood filled Sophie’s nose.

Shadows Of The Dark Heart

Shadows Of The Dark Heart

Her other hand slid unconsciously to her stomach, fingers curling protectively. “It’s strange, Sylvia,” she breathed shakily. “I don’t even know him or her yet, but I… I feel them. As if they’re already a part of me. Like they’re the only one who’s mine… and I can’t let go.” Her tears spilled freely now. “When I think of them, I don’t see anything… I… I only see a tiny heartbeat, clinging to me. And I…” she broke off, clutching her stomach tighter, “…I’m already clinging back.”
