He kissed her passionately while keeping his eyes wide open, staring directly up at us—or more specifically, at Ethan. The sickening sound of the blade tearing through flesh and bone resonated in the quiet room as I drove the hunting knife into Ethan's back. I pushed it in so forcefully that the blade pierced straight through to the other side, flawlessly slicing right through his heart. Ethan's eyes went blank, and he slumped forward, his face hitting the glass before he collapsed to the floor with a heavy, lifeless thump.

He opened his mouth to scream but I covered it with my other hand, I pulled out the knife and stabbed him in the chest, specifically in the heart. He shook violently like a bird that had been poured hot water and then stilled, I watched as the light left his eyes. I removed my knife, pushed him off me with difficulty, and scrambled away from his body as fast as I could with my repressed motility.

It felt fucking euphoric. I smirked. "Eric is alive. You lost," I said and his eyes flashed anger and confusion. I roughly pulled the knife out from his neck which caused blood to splatter on me, but I remained unfazed. He choked violently on his blood and started to convulse on the floor. I pressed the sharp tip of the knife against his chest. Then I slowly pushed it into his heart, watching him cry out in pain. Soon, I heard a small sound and his heart stopped beating as his body went lifeless. I twisted the knife deeply.
