The smile vanished from the monster’s face, and his two comrades looked at each other. She felt the one coming up behind her. His energy was evil, oily, a filth spreading across her porch and reaching her before he did. She turned and fired a missile right into his chest. Flames raced up his torso and he screamed, sprawling backward, rolling and then jumping off the porch to run. The wind fanned the flames as he raced away.

I wanted to help, but I could barely keep myself standing. “Callum!” I screamed. He glanced back for half a second, his face smeared with blood that wasn’t his. “Out the back window! The small balcony—jump to the fire escape!”

Olivia hissed. “Shhhh… have you lost your mind?” Meredith said angrily. As they entered the house behind the monster, several pairs of eyes looked at them at once giving them away. The monster figured it out and turned to attack, leaving Jill on the floor next to the students abducted earlier but it was too late. He was at his weakest and the most vulnerable inside his hideout. From the palm of the boy's hand, he produced a burst of flames that transformed into a giant fireball he launched at the plant monster. Shoving his hands into his pocket, the redheaded boy curled his lips into a smirk as he watched the monster scream and withered away from his flames. "Kyaa, Antônio, you're so amazing and strong~!" The girl threw herself at him, planting her lips to the boy's cheek.
