I tiptoed slowly, to check if he was in, or maybe I was the one imagining such a noise. I peered in. The room was empty, the sheets lay scruffy. Then footsteps echoed softly, I turned, and it was one of the maids. She held a mopstick and a bucket. She greeted me calmly and said Gabriel was downstairs when I asked. I nodded, returning her warm smile, even though mine wobbled. My head still banged, I followed the directions of the noise and walked till I found myself at the front of the house. The man peered outside to look for master. Master? Who on earth was called master? In this day and age? “He’ll be here shortly.” The man nodded and ushered us to a well lit table, almost at the center where music was medium. I looked at the faces seated at the table. These people most likely shat gold. I held back a snicker. He held us a menu and Josh told him to return in a few minutes. “Who’s master?” I took a sip of my water. “Kol.” I coughed up my water as it went down the wrong pipe. Josh gave me a sly look and handed me a serviette.

Chris’s father, John didn’t look so happy, his face looked gloomy, he didn’t even say anything and immediately went home after breakfast ended. He went home with Maureen, but not with Chris.

The tall guy turns around as she walks in and greets her with a big smile on his face. “Hey Sook-Ja," Sook-Ja smiles and greets him back. "Mr. Gwan is in a bad mood." The man tells her. Sook-Ja nods and they both walk into the elevators. They both stand in silence for what feels like hours before the elevator arrives at their floor. They both step out of it and walk down the hall. As they reach Mr. Gwan's office, they stop right in front of the door. "I hope he will not shout," Sook-Ja says before going inside to see Mr. Gwan.

Dhea could only grumble in her heart but still, obey her boss. When she got outside, she was amazed at Hannan who was standing outside the car with his arms folded across his chest. That man leaned against the door of his Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with his glasses still on. "Hello, Dhea's friend, huh? I'm Maha, Dhea's boss,” said Prana while extending his right hand to Hannan, who was greeted without a word. "Take care of Dhea, okay? “She lives alone. If there's anything, you can call my office."

His phone in one hand while the other was fixed in his pocket, standing there like he’d walked straight out of a magazine. My heart leapt to my throat. “Y-You’re here?” His eyes settled on my mother with polite respect as he stepped forward. “Good afternoon, Mrs. Williams. I hope everything went smoothly.”

She asked. "You see Genna here was telling me confusing words" she said, looking at Genna in a disgusting manner. "Actually we are here to speak with Eva," Xander said in support of Genna. "Please come in," Mr Luna said. Mr and Mrs Luna sat on a couch while Xander and Genna sat on another. "So what were you saying?" Mr Luna said. "Are you rusty in the brain? They said they came to speak with our daughter" Mrs Luna said angrily.

I was interrupted by a soft voice against my ear. "Courtney please come I want you to meet someone," Jason whispered in my ear. I excuse myself and walk with him. "Courtney this is Mr. Howard, the owner of this hotel and dad's best friend." He introduced. I look at the man in his mid-50's. He had a genuine smile on his lips. I smile back at him. "So you are the one that stole my boy's heart away?" he questioned me. I was startled at the question. I look at Jason for an answer.

’” He uttered and I smiled to him as he offered a shake hands. ‘’Good evening too, sir.’’ I smiled as I also offer my hand to the other man who is with him too. ‘’I am Mr. Marforri and this is Giovanni my assistant. Please have a seat.’’ Mr. Marforri uttered as I also followed what he said. ‘’Let us just wait a little longer for the owner of UZ bank, for sure they are coming anytime soon.’’
