Midnight Smiles

Midnight Smiles

When Ryder noticed that he looked confused, she would explain again, using simpler words. After dinner they sat down on the couch, nestling in each other's arms, watching a movie. Sometimes Jake would write his books on his laptop and Ryder would pull out her own laptop to get work done. Jake had the tendency to ask her whenever he got writer's block, but in order to help him, Ryder had to know the story and she didn't want to get spoiled when the books weren't even out. So, she had told Jake not to spoil her, no matter what or she wouldn't talk to him for a week. Instead, he should just start a ton of random topics that had some connection to the story in one way or another. Then Ryder woul

A race of intelligent marine beings? Brad felt that itch to get the ideas down before they fled his mind, but he hadn’t brought his laptop. He’d told himself it was because he was going on vacation and therefore didn’t want to work, but deep down, where the real truths lie, he hadn’t brought it because he was afraid he’d lost the creative spark. Ever since things had started going wonky at the house, he had found it hard to focus on writing. For the first time in his life, he’d begun to believe writer’s block might be a real thing, and he worried it might be a wall he could not break through.

Tale Through Time

Tale Through Time

“I can’t think of anything to write!” He raised an eyebrow in question, I sigh in annoyance. “I’m having a writer’s block.” Of course, he won’t get it. I didn’t get it back then either, not until my grandma explained that. “A writer’s what?” See? He doesn’t get it.

himself only) I know I'm not writing a drama but writer's block can sure do an awful lot...it happens even when you're telling your life story, it can make you do things. I took me time to figure out the next event to write down...should have owned a dairy if not that it would have added a "lady's badge" to my nerd title already. The "dam of writer's block" was sure built high enough, locking out the waters of inspiration from flowing. Well, in the end, the dam gats to be blown up, someway...somehow.

Keeping His Dirty Little Secret

Keeping His Dirty Little Secret

And of course, I also displayed some of my achievements that I'm very proud of. As I sit on my swivel chair, I immediately took a piece of paper and a pen. I list down all the ideas I've been holding back in my head since earlier, and then I made an outline of the chapters that I desire to write and finish tonight. After I become satisfied of the outline that I structured, I start typing on my laptop and decided to go with the flow of the chapter I'm creating. Once I find the rhythm of anything that I write, I tend to get lost and get carried away by every word I choose to express the ideas coming from my imaginative mind. But sometimes when I write, I can't find the right rhythm at all. And

Even though I no longer used it for therapy, I had set up my laptop to use as an office. I still had writer’s block, but I figured I would at least attempt to write. At the very least I could try. A few hours later though, I was still stuck on the same chapter. Since I couldn’t get far, I decided it was late enough that I could start cooking.

My Best Friend's Brother

My Best Friend's Brother

~Joan~ I’d been holed up in my room since morning, my eyes glued to the screen of my laptop as my fingers flew across the keyboard. Letter after letter turned into words, and words morphed into meaningful sentences. I was writing again. After weeks of writer’s block, the dam had finally broken, and all it had taken was a late-night moment of bliss with Aaron. Ideas were flowing now, pouring out so fast I didn’t dare stop. If I had them coming, I might as well write them all down before they slipped away.

You are the sole reason I have kept this app. I have downloaded too many of these type apps. It's embarrassing to think what I was willing to consider acceptable writing and or stories before yours. Like a good binge watch, I gobbled up 2 stories in 2 days. Greedily awaiting more, much more. P.S. Ty

I enjoyed the back story, and it didn't go on and on just to have filler to make it longer. I also like when it shows both sides thought process so as the reader you aren't misunderstanding actions being taken.

My cursed Lycan mate

My cursed Lycan mate

" Once again she read the story. How weak was her character. Accepting defeat. There was nothing inspirational about it. She took her pencil and scratched through the entire page, cursing loudly. She couldn't understand why the ideas just were coming randomly but in scatters and she just couldn't join the dots to get a really good story. She really wanted this scholarship that it brought tears to her eyes. She knew she was good enough. She had the skill and the talent but what use was it when she just couldn't pitch a good story. Thinking that she might suffer from writer's block, she got herself a cup of coffee and sipped on it slowly. She closed her eyes and took in deep breaths. Calming h

What Took You So Long

I think she has a writer’s block. With Overwrite, speaking with people with the same interest as hers, it will be easy to get back on track. “If you wanted to join the club, you need to pass at least one work.” She smiled at Leon. She doesn’t know if Leon writes, or he only wanted to be with her that’s why he is applying. “Oh, I might be giving them a copy tomorrow. I had written a story a long time ago, but I didn’t know they need that.” Leon said which surprised her. This guy can really find his way.
