The Alpha's Only Weakness
Hera’s voice came from behind us, and we both spun to face her like two kids who had been caught with their hands on the cookie jar before I forced on a smile, and looked over to see Jax put on a confident and playful smirk.
"We'll see about that," Jax said, smiling widely at her, but she wasn't amused. She crossed her arms, popping out one hip as she raised an eyebrow at us.
"Do the two of you want to tell me why I got a report that our Luna was acting strange and had wandered off toward the border?" Hera asked.
"She wasn't alone! I was watching over her!" Jax exclaimed, and Hera looked him up and down as I wiggled my toes, trying to get the feeling back in them as discreetly as I could.
