Fist of Claws: The Rise of the New Alpha & his Queen

Fist of Claws: The Rise of the New Alpha & his Queen

On getting closer, he was able to hear her heartbeat. With spirit’s herb in her system, no witch can erase her memories unless she’s drained dry. The wolfbane she has taken will make it impossible for any werewolf to catch up with her scent. For the vervain, no vampire would force her to go against her will with mind compulsion and neither will any vampire attempt to taste her blood. These three herbs in her system are powerful substances to keep the witches, werewolves, and vampires away from hurting her. She glanced at Lucas and chuckled. “You think I’m just an ordinary private detective?” she asked. “Oh, hell no! Shits has been going on in New York.”

Claimed By The Alpha Billionaire

Claimed By The Alpha Billionaire

The echo of something small and bright stirring in her soul. By the third morning, she couldn’t deny it. She sat alone in her chamber, the dawn spilling gold through the tall windows. A bowl of herbs and salt rested on the table before her — part of an old witch’s rite of sensing, one she’d learned from Miranda long ago. Normally, it was used to test for curses, but it could also be used for blessings. Her hands trembled slightly as she stirred the bowl, murmuring the incantation under her breath. The salt dissolved in a shimmer of light, swirling into patterns.

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

“Regardless, with all this information, I think I’m able to considerably narrow our search for Daryl’s lair!” declared Walter joyously. “…What do you mean, Uncle Zeman?” asked Gerald with a slightly raised brow. “Well, you see, the witches had a special method of learning witchcraft. It’s quite different from cultivation, mind you. After all, when we cultivate, we rely on the holy spirit to align the meridians in our bodies and condense our essential qi. Witches, on the other hand, mainly rely on external things to practice their witchcraft, such as insects, herbs, and even human blood!”

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

Luna Lyra

Luna Lyra

Inside, I had written down the ingredients my mother had used, the steps to make the potion exactly right. “There are a few key herbs,” I began, flipping through the pages. “First, you’ll need Myringwort. It’s a root that grows near the marshes. It’s great for calming the mind. Then, Moonleaf, which only blooms at night, just like its name suggests. It helps to heal the body, restoring balance. And lastly, Starroot, a small herb with silver veins that grows high in the mountains. That one is the most important—it helps to cleanse the womb as well as to fortify the spirit.” Luna raised her hand, like a student in class. “Wait, Myringwort? Moonleaf? These sound like something out of an old her

Nothing, not even a girl with too much kindness in her heart, could save me from the mess I was in. I retreated into myself for the rest of the evening. While we worked, I listened to Nova list the various herbs and their uses. Bay leaf was good for protection, and purification, while cinnamon (also called sweet wood) was often used for astral projection and healing. Belladonna, which Nova warned was poisonous (hence the nickname deadly nightshade) was often an ingredient in most hexes. A faint blush worked its way to Nova’s cheeks, “You want to be careful around herbs like Damiana. They’re aphrodisiac’s. Often used for lust potions and…” Her voice dropped to a husky whisper, “Sex magic.”

What can I say? Jane Doe has done it again! A beautiful compelling suspenseful romantasy with all the things I love! It’s not even completed but I can’t wait for more! Dark mysterious alluring witch/werewolves with sexy compelling characters that draw you in and make you drool!
Krystal
I’ve read lots of supernatural books but this one is the best I’ve read! It’s got little bit of everything, it deserves way more recognition than it has gotten. Jane out did herself with these last two new books . Extremely talented writer. Give this book a shot you won’t regret it.

Dagger of the Blood Moon

Dagger of the Blood Moon

I leave the chaotic ward and seek solace in my kitchen. The hearth fire casts golden pools of light across my hanging herb-drying racks—nightshade for visions, lavender for dreams, silverleaf for the curse's bite. The shadows they birth dance like spectres across the flagstones, mocking the quiet peace I have carefully cultivated in this room over the years. My hands, as gnarled as old oak roots from decades of grinding poultices and interpreting prophecies, tremble. I am crushing dried mugwort between my mortar and pestle, the earthy tang rising sharply to sting my eyes.

Echoes of the Pack

Echoes of the Pack

I search for the term for a moment, smiling when I recall it, "Divination." "Good. What about smudging?" "Smudging is cleansing aura of oneself or an object using herbs," My eyes are shut as I regurgitate what I've studied the past weeks, "The most common herbs used are sage, lavender, rosemary, and bay leaves." "Any other herbs you can use?" "Cloves. Cinnamon...Dill and..." After a moment, I come blank and look at her for help. "Ginger," She answers, "You forgot that one last time as well-so be sure to write it on your forehead or something. But other than that, you did a fantastic job."

Dates Ended in Death, Mom Ended up Famous

Dates Ended in Death, Mom Ended up Famous

I went to the nearby cliffs to pick some herbs for the ritual as per Grandma's instructions. The cliffs were incredibly steep and covered in thick vegetation. The air was filled with the rich scent of wet soil. I carefully identified the herbs Grandma had described to me—perilla, mugwort, sweet flag, and a plant of sorts called "black-jack" that was said to expel negative energies. I finally finished gathering all the herbs I needed after a long time, only to end up getting lost on the way back.

Rebirth Of The Broken Luna: A Second Chance at Luna's Heart

Rebirth Of The Broken Luna: A Second Chance at Luna's Heart

Carol didn't look up from her work, her fingers moving with precision, like she knew what she was doing even with her eyes closed as she traced symbols on Riley's forehead with the glowing paste. "I was picking herbs in the forest," she said not skipping a beat as she added. "These woods are full of plants that mean nothing to werewolves but are incredibly valuable to witches. Moonbell, shadow root, silver sage - things that only grow in territories protected by pack magic." I frowned, processing this information, that she handed to me, as I tried to understand the magnitude of this issue. "You sneak into werewolf territory regularly?" "Brave witches like me do, yes," she replied with a slig

Trisha asks, her eyes wide. “Yes, there is room for failure,” Delphnie admits. “I still need to chant correctly. But having these herbs you provided puts me at an advantage. The scent of St. John’s Wort, nettle, and sage in the air will strengthen the chance of releasing the spell. I’m going to need some time to simmer them first. Then, we’ll put them in the spray bottle.” I whip my head toward her. “Time? That’s something we don’t have.”
