When she saw him return to his paperwork like nothing had happened, her face flushed crimson with embarrassment. She couldn't believe she had almost fallen for another one of his tricks. She didn’t even ask for her hair band back. She had plenty of those anyway. Without another word, she quickly scurried out of the room.
