Hidden In The Mist Novels & Stories

I just didn’t expect it to be so soon. Now I send the ravens into the trees, surrounding them, letting the ravens’ eyes become mine. Through them, I see clearly where the witches hide, already moving to set their plan in motion. “Abscondens nubes,” I hear one of them mutter. Mist descends over the forest. The ravens lose their sight, and so do I. From the dark haze, three silhouettes emerge—one to my right, one before me, and one to my left. Their voices rise in chant.

"Each of you must state the hidden truth that is in your heart. One truth. One secret that you have never spoken aloud. If you speak truthfully, the mist will part, and you may pass. If you lie, the mist will swallow you, and you will never leave this place." I looked at the three men. Theor faces look pale. And if they could see mine, then it was just as pale as theirs.

I wasn’t wearing my seatbelt and I tumbled about as the Jeep rolled into the forest and slammed to a stop against two trees. I heard Kiran scream as he left the protection of the circle, and ran toward me. I kicked the door open and fell out of the jeep, bleeding from my head, and cradling my broken arm. I looked back at her and started running deeper into the forest, jumping into the next realm. “Hylja sála.” I ran toward Kiran, somehow knowing that he’d be in the clearing. They stood across from each other, both of them enveloped in their own flames, hers red, and Kiran’s blue.

LOGAN: We have a magical book and all wordings except the spells in the book have inserted themselves in my brain, probably cos it trust me ANYA: Okay so this Misty, what does she do? LOGAN: This (pointed to the fog) Misty causes Mist. The mist isn't poisonous. She uses it as a disguise. She is a master of disguise and this fog is her battle ground. She can turn the fog into any shape she wants. She is dangerous with her fog...but without it, she's not much of a champion. ROSE: So, is there any way we can clear the fog? LOGAN: Not that I know of. But the surest way is to get rid of the her. Get rid of her...you get rid of the fog.

When Her Highness returned her gaze to Alex, she had the distinct impression that a thick layer of mist had shrouded his body. Not to mention the secret… even the cultivation realm was hidden. "D*mned bastard. You're not about to show me..."

As Amy retrieved her hydro dagger from her pocket and used her space stone, the path was illuminated.

Before Michael could say anything, there were footsteps approaching his room, which surprised the woman and caused her to cover his mouth. With panic visible in her eyes, she said, "We'll talk later! Please help me hide myself," she begged. Seeing how panicked she was, Michael decided to save the question and agree with her. "Okay, follow me," he said while guiding her towards the curtain beside the bed. "Stay here okay, I'll let you know if it's already safe," he said, to which she responded with a nod as she bent down. After the woman was out of sight, it was Michael's turn to hide by pretending to be unconscious in his bed.

“Show me everything.” A sudden wind tore through the clearing, mist swirling violently, carrying with it whispers of a thousand voices, ancient and full of secrets. Shadows twisted, reaching toward them, brushing against her glow, merging with the energy that thrummed through her. The figure laughed softly, a sound that sent shivers down her spine, and then… the veil began to tear.

The air itself seemed to freeze. "Who dares?!"

MIST! It headed for him powerful and forceful as it's always been,he gnash his teeth thinking about Karen, she's the only one capable of sending a mist after him,the only one capable of coming back to get her revenge knowing how terrified he is off mist,he ran to his horse and mount it then galloped, all of a sudden he fell down from his horse with a force,he glance up and saw the mist towering in front of him then it backed away and move deeper into the woods,Adir sigh in relief but froze when he saw a figure in the mist,he blink the mist stop as the figure waited and turn back.
