This is the sequel to "Trio of Mates" (can be found on here) and is NOT a stand-alone book. I felt as if I had just fallen asleep when flashes and fragments of dreams began to play through my mind. They are disjointed, speeding through my mind almost too fast to catch. There is Charlie holding two pups in her arms, the pack being attacked on the western front, Arya fallen to her knees sobbing in the middle of a battlefield, funeral pyres, me looking down at my pregnant stomach with Gael and Hakeem smiling down at me, whoops of victory, and wails of defeat. As the images flit through my mind, a voice enters the chaos. “A war of threes. Three deaths. Three victories. Three trios. Three losses. Betrayal. Birth. Death. Sorrow. Joy. Warn them, Meredith. The adults are laughing and joking while watching the pups play. Someone yells, “Oh my goddess, someone just jumped over the waterfall!" Everyone is frozen as they watch what looks to be a child falling arms spread wide, no one makes a sound. The alpha, beta, and gamma, spring into action, swimming towards the area the person went under. The alpha is screaming his wolf is going crazy repeating, “Find her. Find her...find her!" They dive and the beta surfaces with a small person in his arms. Alpha takes the girl from his beta, laying her on the ground. The men are shocked by what they see. She is covered in scars and injuries. Her body is twisted and broken. The Beta asks, "Who could have done this to someone so defenseless?" Alpha drops to his knees, repeating, "MATE...MATE...MATE!"

Every touch ignited a fire I couldn’t control. When he pulled back, his eyes were full of desire. “You can’t deny what’s between us, Sarah” Sarah’s simple life turns dark when she catches the eye of dangerous mob boss, Marco De Luca. To settle her father’s debt, Marco forces her into an arranged relationship. Sarah fights to resist his control, but their fiery clashes spark undeniable passion.

SEQUEL TO TWO ALPHAS AND A LIE... His eyes sent shivers rushing through me as I tried to process what was going on. "Did you just say..." I stammered as my heart began to pound painfully in my chest. "To forget that I found you?" How could he stand there and say that with such a straight face? Wasn't he feeling the same way that I did? That all consuming want to be near and the flutter of butterflies just from our being near? "I have no intentions on ever accepting a mate." He said slowly, his eyes growing darker. "Especially a lycan one." His words felt like knives piercing into my heart. He was rejecting me. He was really standing here rejecting me and not even giving me a chance. "Why?" I asked slumping to the ground. "Because mates and love are fucking ridiculous." He hissed. I couldn't move, couldn't breath as he turned and began to move. He was leaving and I didn't have the strength to call for him or chase after him. I watched from my place on the ground as he continued to move further and further away. My mind was reeling and my breathing was becoming difficult. How was it even possible that I had managed to find my mate after all the chaos and the person that was destined for me was the one that I absolutely couldn’t touch? Feeling tears beginning to prick at my eyes, I laid down against the cold dirt. Never in my life did I think I would cry due to emotion, but fuck I was in pain.
