Immortal Love

Immortal Love

I was disappointed at him, that I sprinted my leg quickly to him, with long strides of steps and hit him hard on his chest clenching my fist hard with all my might. " How dare you, Aries? How dare you kill her? What had she done to you? What had she done to you? Who gave you the right to kill my best friend?" I hit him hard on his body. He grabbed both of my hands, tight and powerfully and said," What the hell are you spouting Heidi ? I never killed her. How can I kill someone whom I barely know ? And, with what motive ? I left her on the balcony before leaving for the mansion," he said.

Second Chance At Rebirth: Beneath The Ashes

Second Chance At Rebirth: Beneath The Ashes

That wasn’t a coincidence. I opened a new tab and typed “hit and run” along with the boy’s name that once was displayed on the news. The search results loaded, and I clicked on the first news article from a local paper, dated July 12, 2019. The headline hit me. “Local Teen Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident.” I skimmed the article, my heart pounding. Michael Idris, 25, struck by an unidentified vehicle late at night on a quiet road. No witnesses. No arrests. The police called it a tragic accident, but my gut screamed otherwise. The timing lined up perfectly with Lisa’s social media blackout. She’d been involved. I knew it.

The Heist of Hearts

The Heist of Hearts

She shifted uncomfortably, the bruises on her ribs making even small movements a test of endurance. She leaned forward, fingers steady as she inserted the flash drive into the laptop. The drive’s label—*Romano*—flashed across the screen, a cold reminder of the name she’d spent years chasing, a name that had become the bedrock of her vengeance. A name that was, even now, still a mystery.

Luna's Reincarnation: Our Sisterly Bond

Luna's Reincarnation: Our Sisterly Bond

I began. *** I was happily returning home from Mr and Mrs Gallo’s wedding anniversary. Before I would cross the road platform that leads to the route of our home, I got knocked down by a car. I didn’t die with that, only my legs felt numb and I began crawling back on the road. Two villains stepped out of the car, taking devious steps toward me while hitting the baton they were holding gently in their palms. I tried to stand up, I couldn’t. I groaned in pain. My eyes searched around, no one will come to my rescue. They stood in front of me, towering over me like statues of destruction, glaring evilly at me. Tears rushed down my cheeks. I knew nothing will spare me from them. He said his final

I-SHIRLEY

I-SHIRLEY

As a student, he had been deeply moved by The Bridge of San Luis Rey, Thornton Wilder's novel about five strangers who perished together on a collapsing bridge. Naturally, when he started his new job in Nevada he began to dwell on the notions of fate and predestination. He chose to craft a modern take on the classic tale where-in his version-the strangers' lives intersected at the instant of a terror attack. Bernie got his tea, "Thank you, honey. Keep an eye out for my next meeting, okay?" Roz cleared Peter's line of sight

I enjoyed this book. I would read again. A sweet romance between main characters and every hardship/drama wasn't endlessly drug out and settled pretty quickly. Many different storylines with supporting characters too. Excellent plot twist and reveal at the end.

Blood Hunt

Blood Hunt

He quickly grabbed his keys and strolled out. The bar wasn’t far away and it was too crowded for his liking. He saw his gang waiting for him outside. And his pack too. He was about to move when he got his shoulder grab. "Calm down. Let Enzo do the work first". Zee said holding his hand and he looked back at him confused. They all moved inside and there Stephen saw what he meant. Callum was hugging a girl while dancing. But what frightened Stephen was, the girl had a punctured neck. But maybe she was so intoxicated by the drugs that she didn’t notice it.

AFTER THE FALL

AFTER THE FALL

He was the kind who left others to carry the torch while he lit cigars with hundred dollar bills. Meekey knew the look of someone hiding something in plain sight. The gym was a front. It always had been. The question was, what was he running now? She left the diner and walked the block, slow and steady, head down, blending in. Across the street, a skinny kid in a hoodie sat on a stoop, eyes sharp behind the screen of a cracked phone. A lookout. Meekey caught the quick flick of his gaze as she passed, too casual to be casual.
