MY EX-HUSBAND’S REMORSE

MY EX-HUSBAND’S REMORSE

I desperately asked her. “The impact was on his side.” I gasped in horror as I covered my mouth. “Wh-What?” “A sedan, which is now on the run, hit your car intentionally.” “Intentionally? What do you–” I winced at the pain in my head, but it slowly went away for a second. “What do you mean?” “It was a hit and run, according to the police.” Hit and run? Intentional? There's only one person who could do this.

I don’t know if this author reads and listen to her followers and I just started this book today and I want to keep reading it until the end but if the FL doesn’t get a spine and stop being so pathetic, I don’t see the need to spend another penny on this story

The mafia and his hit man

The mafia and his hit man

We traded punches and hits, fast enough to feel like the old days. He ducked under my arm, slammed his elbow into my ribs, and whispered, “Vyn.” Something snapped inside my mind. I grabbed him by the throat, slammed him against the crate, and squeezed until his eyes bulged. His hands clawed at my arms, but I didn't loosen. I wanted him gone. Then a gunshot cracked right beside my head, not at me, but past me. Straight into his shoulder. He collapsed, choking for air. Behind us, standing in the middle like he owned the entire damn world, was Rafa.

The Ex-Wife Seeks Revenge

The Ex-Wife Seeks Revenge

Charles POV: The turbulence hit somewhere over Nevada, jarring me from a restless, uneasy sleep. My ribs ached, a dull throb beneath the expensive suit jacket, a constant reminder of Nathan’s… message. The hit-and-run. It hadn’t been random. I knew it. He knew I knew it. And Agatha… Agatha was caught in the middle, scared, confused, vulnerable.

Alpha's Substitute Bride

Alpha's Substitute Bride

He rolled his head to pop his neck, and looked into my eyes. “I need you to tell me what kind of car hit you.” I thought about it, but all I could remember was the view of the headlights barreling towards me. I couldn’t see the body. “I have no idea,” I admitted sheepishly. “I couldn’t see. Why?” Ethan pinched the bridge of his nose and got out of the bed, “It was a hit and run, right? No one tried to help you or stop?” I nodded, “No one stopped, no.”

My Hitwoman

But, what is trust when she didn't even believe in it? "Did you wish to revisit the past, Isaiah?" Those words made him shivered. He wouldn't, could never forget about what happened the first time Lincoln was starting the business to be like Kook. It was a bloody mess and they were only in their first year of dating. Flashback to the past... "Who took our delivery? Was it Cayne?" Jilly asked Kook's employees who got stranded and robbed in the middle of an empty town. It was such a perfect place to do just that, robbing.

A Hit For The Lord

Alina could not restrain herself, angrily tearing her elbow out of Senor Madzhi's hand, and turned to this pigalina that she dared to accuse the devil of what, pointed her finger at her and, not controlling herself, answered: “Maybe it was you who committed the crime?” Maybe your brother, the little hypocrite, tried to kill both me and the child, causing me serious injuries and throwing me into the forest?! Maybe it's you, the Severin clan, who started the hunt for the girl who lost her memory, and began to live anew after everything she had endured? Who was forced to flee the city where you tried to peck not only me, but also my family! Who is this brother of yours to me? I don't remember h

The billionaire's hidden bride: The secret heiress

Maya’s heart skipped a beat and the next second, the car hit the girl. Maya gasped, her books and phone dropping to the ground as she instinctively ran forward. The girl hit the ground hard, her phone scattering across the floor. The car didn’t stop. It slowed for a second, then sped off. “What? Wait!” Maya shouted, but it was too late. The driver was gone. Her fists clenched in fury. “That bastard! How could anyone be so heartless?” People nearby started shouting, pulling out their phones. “Hit and run! Someone call the police!”

The EX-Wife Returns

The EX-Wife Returns

“ answer me, who was he? And how did he get away?” Neva stopped walking. She let out a harsh breath and glanced back at the crowd surrounding the body. . “I don’t know. I’m not sure. I was running after him. Then he pushed me. I stood up to run after him again, but he was about to cross the road to the other side.” She pointed a finger towards the busy street. “He can’t make it. That hit… it was bad.” She looked directly at Calla, her eyes hard. “The hit and run. It was a way to keep him shut. Forever. He was meant to die after he talked to us or maybe if he had successfully stabbed us.”

While I Was Dying, She Was Loving Him

While I Was Dying, She Was Loving Him

I nodded slowly, unsurprised. "Pass that information on to the police." What looked like a hit-and-run was actually a hired hit. Whoever was behind this had a ruthless streak. I clenched my fists, a grim suspicion forming in the back of my mind.
