20 Years Later Raven University — Alexander’s POV The Blackwood crest loomed over the wrought-iron gates of Raven University like a sentinel carved from nightmares and myths—a massive silver wolf etched into obsidian stone, its eyes twin chips of moonstone that seemed to pierce the dawn fog, judging every soul that dared approach. Most students passed beneath it with wide-eyed awe, whispering prayers to whatever deity they favored, their footsteps quickening as if the wolf might lunge from the stone at any moment. Me? A circular crest gleamed faintly on the cover, a silver wolf’s head bisected by a black sword, the same we saw in the tunnel the other day. I knew that crest, its Blackwood sigil. My lungs tightened. My hand moved before my brain could catch up. I pulled the book free. Dust billowed, I coughed hard.. My heart beat faster.

Her eyes were pure black no whites, just endless pits that seemed to drink the light. She wore a robe stitched from raven feathers and human skin, and when she smiled it looked scary. “Cassandra,” she purred, voice like velvet dragged across a blade. “The little wolf who photographs her obsession has finally come to trade her soul, I’ve been waiting.”

It seemed they didn’t care too much about the gruesome battle raging outside; their eyes were on the invisible barrier surrounding the house. As the witches walked along the edge, creating a semicircle around the barrier, another figure stepped out from the growing fog outside the tree line. The tall Raven had straight black hair that ran almost the entire length of her back. She was thin and had strange black markings all over her pale skin, which seemed to whirl on her skin as she began muttering something. A black film emerged as she chanted, swirling around her body in pulses.

The two younger girls started to panic but the older woman remained calm and said, “I guess you don’t have any knowledge about this place yet but we are here to enlighten you, Luna.” she started “Welcome to the Crimson Crest Pack…” Did she say pack? Like a wolf pack? “... yes Luna. A werewolf pack.” Fear started to creep inside me again as I am filled with pressure. I wanted to run but there’s no where to run. I wanted to hide but it would be useless with all these wolves scattering around. They would find me in mere seconds!

Dad grabbed the nurse, throwing her out of the room alongside himself. "Well-done, Emily, you have accomplished your mission." A sinister scent emerged, a wicked laugh echoing across the room.
