Hogwarts House Colors Novels & Stories

Sage. I had never been so nervous in my life than I was right now. My head was buzzing with a musical frequency and that was because I was surrounded by witches. Powerful ones. We were in an old court. It was filled to the brim with witches and the only way to distinguish them was by their colorful robes. I could tell that the highest rank in their hierarchy was the white robe and that was because Grand Mistress was only one clade in the robe. There were green, brown, purple, ginger, red, deep blue, yellow, black, grey, ash and silver robes. Twelve colors and ranks. I did not bother trying to figure out which color was what rank because that was not why I was here.

With the door propped open for everybody to have temporary access to the family quarters, I work on starting Chelsea's room. The witches all stroll in to add some touches one at a time. Since her room back at the pack house is a pretty blue color, it only seems natural to change that up a bit here. Plus, with it being inside a Coven's home I want to keep it looking like a witch's room even if she is not capable of doing magic on her own.

Crystal River Pack Hadrian stood in front of the stove cooking breakfast for his daughters, brother and himself. He and his girls had lived in this house for nearly two years, and he had yet to finish repainting the old avocado green kitchen. She then took a deep breath and began to tell me all about it. She explained how there was a whole other world, hidden from the non-magical people, where witches and wizards lived and went to school. She told me about Hogwarts, the magical school, and how it was divided into four houses, each with its own unique traits and qualities. As she spoke, I couldn't help but be amazed by her words. It sounded like something straight out of a fantasy novel. But her excitement and conviction made me believe that it was real.

' I thought. We arrived in front of Niles's house. It was a large building, approximately three stories high. It was painted white and red, which were the colors of the Griffins. White symbolizes purity, while red represents their fierce, fiery anger. They had a garden surrounding their house, and from the front, you could see the orchard where Abby cultivates a variety of flowers and fruits.

“No use of magic outside the house unless greatly unavoidable.” Yes, it was true, the Michael family was indeed a den of witches. “We practice our magic inside this house, except for the rituals of course which is tomorrow.” Freya continued giving a small smile only to be interrupted by the thud of Hayley’s apple against the floor. Everyone turned to look at her now pale face. “Sorry.” She managed to brush her hair behind her quickly as she picked the apple and returned although Earnestine’s eyes lingered a bit filled with worry for her little sister.

The air carried damp earth, fresh grass, and a soft floral sweetness that calmed the chest. Even the wind moved differently, gentler, as though mindful of where it passed. If only the palace could feel this alive, Lillia thought, a faint smile curving her lips. Then, she noticed it. House Greyson bore the Wolfsbane crest, but it was draped in the colour Grey. House Blackwell displayed the same crest, but this time, it was draped in the colour black. At the palace, she had seen five coloured displays of the same crest in the training court as well as the great hall.

Werewolves were knows for having, Black, Brown, Red or ocean blue eyes, while Witches were known for having, Brown, Hazel and green, Fae, have Purple and black, Vampire, black, brown and red and I’m the one only to have a different color shade of eyes…yellow. “Go to bed Emery” His voice resounded in my ears. I sighed, turning around, and found my way up to my room. Today was full of drama, and I wondered what the days ahead would be like.

Or rather, the auras surrounding them. A rainbow of colors flows and mingles throughout the room. Reds like Sera's, oranges, yellows, greens like Thea's, blues in varying shades, purples, browns like Marcus's, and colors I don't even have names for. Some shimmer, some pulse, some twist and curl like living things. Each unique, each telling a story I'm only beginning to understand.

She gazed down at the seat next to me. "Would you like to sit?" I asked. She smiled. "I'd love to. Would you mind?" Eve asked, holding out her hand for me to grab and guide her into the seat next to mine. "There are many different species and beings in this world. Humans and wolves arent the only ones. You have witches, vampires, faires, elves and dragons. Then you have your hybrids. Those who lives straddle between worlds. I'm sure you're empathetic to that plight. Although, you are different.
