But be warned—failure will cost you everything.” Hazel swallowed hard, but nodded. “I understand.” They gave Hazel an intense stare for a moment, and she tried to look back at them without flinching. She waited for the test, and she was determined to ace it because she knew that the life of her best friend depended on it. After a while, the room echoed with the sound of claps, and Hazel remained perplexed as the witches gave her a round of applause. “You have passed the test,” one of them said, and she raised a brow at first, but she quickly straightened, giving them a bow.

I tell him. “I swear in all that is evil that they will be fine.” He then motioned crossing his heart. I rolled my eyes. “Where are these trials?” I asked him. “Stonehenge.” “That’s an odd place” I tell him. “That’s not for you to worry about. All you need is a witch to do a ritual and then you can begin the trials. I suggest that all of you go.” He said. “So what are the trials?” I asked. He shrugged, “I don’t know, but I don’t want to break a nail, so I’d rather someone else go.”

Kira asked, peering beyond him. That wiped the smile off Orion's face. His jaw tightened. "She's not here. She stayed back with the witch." "What witch?" I edged in. He shook his head. "It's complicated. We went to the coven. They had a trial." "A trial? A witch? a coven? What the fuck?" Zack was replaying. “Yeah," Orion sneered with a laugh. "They said it like it was some sort of cleansing ritual, but it was worse. But I'm not shut to fixing her up. The witches are disgusting."
