Her breath caught when she saw the twisted, fear-filled handwriting, and she immediately realized it was written right after Paige had been assaulted. "Why did they do that to me? Silas said, though his eyes drifted to the small, flickering television in the corner. The news was playing a trailer for a new movie: THE ECLIPSE: A NORTHERN TALE. It was a high-budget horror film, full of jump-scares and monstrous, grey-furred wolves with glowing red eyes. It was a "Reboot" of their lives, turned into a nightmare for a new audience. "They're making us monsters, Silas," Lyra whispered, her blue eyes bright with a sudden, sharp fear. "They're making 'Characters' monsters, Lyra," Silas corrected. "That's not us anymore."

It wasn’t till the second person had just had his head chopped offi that I realised that this was indeed a horror movie. “C’mon the movie isn’t so bad and scary Hades.” He says and I frown chewing on my popcorn, “You said we weren’t going to see a horror movie.” I mutter and he grins “I lied and I’m sorry but I really wanted to watch it and to watch it with you.” He murmurs in my ear and I glare, “You want to watch a horror movie with me even after I told you that I hated it? Whatever for?” I whisper yells and he grins “Don’t worry, you’ll see.” He says smiling at me and I roll my eyes before letting out a defeated sigh.

He wouldn’t risk a scandal, not even for a silly bet. “Ugh, fine. Just start the movie. No one else is coming anyway,” she grumbled. What Cassandra didn’t know was that Marc had already picked the movie himself. On purpose. And it was a horror film. “W– what the heck! Uncle, it's horror?” she protested. The title of the movie was called Melpomene: Demonic Doll, and it was very terrifying and convincing. The characters were superb, you could actually believe that everything that was happening in the movie was all real. And the doll was beautiful at first, but turned out it was a possessed doll where a tormented soul was living inside its body as a vessel to reincarnate in a child's body. This is the first time we’ll see a horror movie together so I felt a little thrilled. My hand searched for the pillow before pushing my back on the soft couch. The movie was about a family who unknowingly moved in at a haunted house near the woods. The story became intense as the kids in the family started acting possessed one by one, leaving their guardians to solve the problem.

Cole asked. “Horror.” Cole visibly paled. Yup Cole is scared of horror movies. He screams like a little girl every time a ghost appears on the screen. We all laughed out loud but we still watched ‘Anabelle creation’ with Cole screaming now and then. He had his hands over his eyes throughout the movie. He was watching the movie from the gaps of his fingers. When the movie ended it was already past eleven. We climbed the stairs to our rooms with the guys stopping on the second floor and me climbing to the third floor to my room.
