Sold To The Alpha

Sold To The Alpha

The intentional neglect of this corner was a deliberate choice, a testament to the charm of the untouched and the allure of secrets waiting to be unraveled. Settling into a plush chair, Joseph cradled the book in his hands. The worn cover spoke of countless hands that had sought its wisdom, and the yellowed pages whispered tales of eras long past. As he opened the book, the fragrance of aged parchment wafted through the air, creating an olfactory tapestry that intertwined with the silent narratives within.

Her Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Her Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Like something sacred had been sealed within its pages. She didn’t flip through it. Didn’t scan the dedication or reread the chapters. She just held it. A real, bound version of her pain and her power. Her truth. Owen arrived that evening to find her curled on the couch, the book clutched to her chest like something delicate and holy. “You ready?” he asked softly, crouching beside her. Sophia looked at him, her eyes a little misty, but not from sadness. From stillness.

The Dark Witch Luna Queen & The Alpha Book 2

The Dark Witch Luna Queen & The Alpha Book 2

I replied. I opened the door to see the guys setting a blanket down on the sand. I held tight to the leather book that was in my hand. Part of me didn't want to keep reading but I know I need to know. It scares me to learn anything more honestly. As we sat down I took a deep breath and opened it from where we left off. I decided to take it slow this time around, I don't need to overwhelm myself. "This looks like it lists duties or how to do things." I said. "Okay, we are listening. Whenever you are ready." Ambrosia said with an encouraging smile.

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The drawing and the attending. He thought about the girl of eleven who had held the book unopened and then opened it. He wrote to Ruth: How is the girl with the book? Ruth wrote: She finished it last Thursday. She took another one today. She sat at the long table and read with her chin on her hand.

The CEO's Dangerous Line

The CEO's Dangerous Line

Far from Vesper City's glittering towers. A metal door slowly opened. A hidden room. A forgotten place. Dust floated through the darkness. A man stepped inside. Without hesitation, he approached an old steel safe. The lock clicked. Then opened. Inside sat a worn black book. Old. Aged. Covered in years of dust. The Black Ledger. The man picked it up carefully. Opened the first page. And smiled. Because one name appeared again. And again. And again. Written throughout countless entries. One name connected everything.

hold me close forever (book 2 of Keller series)

hold me close forever (book 2 of Keller series)

I have to put an end to this extreme fear that was being put to me through my heart. After having a fight with my mind if I should seek help from Jace but need to tell him everything, I turn off my computer and grab my bag. My only thought right now is just, it’s now or never. I open Jace office’ door and saw him reading some documents. “Jace, can we go home now?” I ask reluctantly. “Sure babe, actually I’m just re-reading this documents but I think it’s all fine. C’mon?” he said smiling but frowned as he look into me and saw my puffy red eyes.

Stuck With The Bossy CEO

Stuck With The Bossy CEO

I know. And, I looked at my watch to begin counting her time, and she tried to move the shelf by pushing it with her right hand which made me hold my laughter. No, I'm not gonna laugh. Then, she let out a heavy breath as she put a hand on her waist and looking at the huge thing in front of her while puzzled by how to get it open. Is she tired? "Nine minutes! The books won't tell you how to open it, Maia. Use both your hands and mind." I let out as I pick up again the document that I was reading earlier. Let's see if she can figure it out.

Alpha Daryl

Alpha Daryl

I read the title, the book hadn’t been on the shelves for long or it had been looked at recently as there was very little dust. “I found it a couple of days ago” “Were you looking for it” Alpha Christian shakes his head “I was looking for something to read” It wasn’t what I was expecting to hear, I haven’t met anyone that had been interested in books before and the thought makes me smile. “Alpha Christian?” “You don’t have to call me Alpha each time. What can I do for you?” “Why do they keep coming for me?” He sighs and crosses the room back towards me and takes the book from my hands. Opening the book, he flips through it until he finds what he is looking for and hands me the book and point

I binged this story in a couple of days, still hooked! Yes there are some grammatical errors but the plot shines through.. still a few unanswered questions, hoping they’re addressed in the next chapters

The Nameless Luna

The Nameless Luna

“Hold on! That book seems special. I bet you haven’t seen it before. We need…” “Fire to reveal what has been written.” Lucas completed my words, and my eyes only widened in surprise. “I have read all the books here, probably a hundred times. But this particular book can open a door to bad incidents the moment you reveal all that is in the book. It uses your mind to free itself. So, it’s better off not reading. This is where you have to caution your curiosity.” He lectured me. “Oh, I see. I’m sorry.” I apologized, realizing I could have caused havoc with my own hands.
