Novel & Cerita Homecoming Queen: Watch Her Take Control

I breathe in relief, suddenly feeling a huge weight off my shoulders. "Duh! Of course I always am." She bragged. "Don't let anyone push you around anymore. You're no longer at the Moonrise pack, you're no longer Tyler's timid mate, you're no longer Zora the maid, you're the Queen now. So act like it!"

"You haven't claimed her, you haven't announced her and as far as the pack is concerned, she's just an omega who happens to be your mate. " I felt my face flush with humiliation, she was doing this on purpose. This wasn't just about me, this was a display of power, over me, yes but also over Marcel. She was showing everyone in this room that she could still control her son, still make him bend to her will. One of the older elders, a man with gray hair and sharp eyes, spoke up. "Alpha, " he said.

Sarah’s screams echoed through the shack, but Damien was deaf to her pleas for mercy. But even watching Sarah beg on her knees didn't fill the void in his soul. Revenge wasn't going to bring Elena back. His life as a hollow shell continued for a long time, until one day, he happened to see a familiar figure on the news. On the television screen, I was wearing the white robes of a healer. The Alpha King's heir, Cade, was presenting me with an award for excellence in healing. I had a confident, elegant smile on my face, and I looked absolutely radiant.

We both laughed under our breath, quickly, making sure it was done and contained before anyone in our immediate space looked over. Tonight was the lock-in. Tonight was the night I had been planning around for weeks. Sean was the star quarterback and I was the head cheerleader, and homecoming court nominations were coming up, and if there was going to be a queen at this school it was going to be me … which meant I needed to be standing next to the right person when those nominations landed. I had tried being patient with Sean and I had tried being obvious with Sean but then neither of those had moved him where I needed him to be.

I said. The shard stopped glowing. Everyone went still. Even Silas. Good. My voice shook, but it was mine. “And no one calls me queen until I decide what that word costs.” For one breath, Frost Ridge held perfectly still. Then every remaining mirror in the house cracked at once. Silas bowed his head. Kael smiled faintly. Damien looked at me like I had just become the thing he had been terrified of and proud of all at once. Outside, far beyond the ridge, wolves began to howl.

They actually declared war on the Queen, the Queen herself. The Queen would not run away yet. The Queen would watch as everything falls apart. The Queen would watch as Jasmine tries to manipulate Damon into a situation he cannot get out of.. Then when the carnival is at its peak, when the Contract Luna is supposed to stand beside her Alpha, the Queen, Elara would show them what happens when you try to control something that is very powerful like the Queen, Elara, who is like a sun.

She gritted her teeth when she saw the small mountain of gifts that were piled up on the table. Her eyes flashed with intent when she lowered her head and brushed her fingers across the blue diamond necklace that cost millions of dollars that Mom had given her. I had kept a close eye on her the entire time. When I noticed that her neck was bare after she exited the bathroom, I knew that she was about to put her plan into motion. Quinn made her way to the center of the crowd, preparing to frame me for her missing necklace. Meanwhile, I sneakily moved closer to the swimming pool.

"If she realizes what her blood means before he secures the bond, she won't just destroy the pack. She’ll slaughter him." My phone buzzes in my pocket. I pull it out, seeing a text message from Kieran: They're heading back from the hospital. Zanele's arm is stitched, but she's furious. Hide your weapons, boys. The queen is coming home. I shove the phone back into my pocket, my heart hammering a frantic rhythm against my ribs. "She's coming back here?" Tavon asks, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah," I mutter, walking toward the grand double doors of the manor. "And I don't think any of us are going to survive the night."

She says with a small giggle. "You will stop second guessing your abilities to lead and you will rule right beside your mate. That is an order." She jokes with a hint of seriousness. I nod and smile up at her. She holds her hand out and a golden staff apears. I immediately bow down and she dubs me Queen of werewolves by tapping the staff on both of my shoulders. "I now dub thee Mackenzie Roseline Lathen as Queen of werewolves and Luna of the royal pack. Do you accept?" She asks and I look up at her.

"They saw the violet light. Word is spreading that the First Mother has returned to save the packs." I looked at my hands. They looked normal now, but I could still feel the hum of energy beneath my skin. It wasn't a hunger anymore; it was a steady, quiet power. "I don't know if I'm ready to be a Queen, Killian," I admitted. "I just wanted to be free." "You are free," he said, his voice firm. "That's the difference. Dominic wanted to rule through fear and shadows. You saved us because you loved your son. That’s the kind of Queen people will follow to the ends of the earth."
