Chase squinted at me, "What?" "Water!" I yelled, "Hurry up." The man frowned at me, "What the hell is a bucket of water supposed to do?" he asked shakily. "You will find out." I replied, right before Chase rushed out of the hut, carrying a wooden bucket of water. "Quick, cover me, if they charge forward, I know what to do." I said and my claws flashed out. With the sharp tip of my smallest claw, I slit a line in my left palm and squeezed it tightly so the blood would drip into the bucket of water.

Still, the way they look at me, or scoff at what are my limitations, makes me feel… Burdensome. “We’ll have to get water for the horses,” A familiar voice catches my attention Zen steps up by my side, carrying three wooden buckets and holds out one to me. “If you can carry one, there’s a small river close by.” He says In another setting, someone might’ve whistled at the prospect of the couple moving to a second location, but this group wisely keeps their mouths shut. For the last quarter-mile I had to run hugging the heavy bucket to my chest.
