His Lordship Alexander Kane

His Lordship Alexander Kane

It could not have just been to tease him. "This lock," said Arthur from his wheelchair, his voice steady, "is the Barrowbay Thousand Mechanism Burst, a relic of a lock that's almost extinct. If you try to force it open, the trap triggers, and poof—everything inside turns to ash." Alexander eyed the group who had stumbled upon the chest. "Got a key?" "Nope." Their faces fell at Arthur's revelation, realizing they might have unearthed a dud instead of treasure. The last thing they wanted was to lose the cash they were after.

I was hooked in reading this book. But why the sudden ending? It doesn’t make any sense. Still have alot of loose endings what happened to black maple master? The jade pendants? This is pure money making stint.

Forever Bound

Forever Bound

"It seems the memory machine has done its job." He leaned back, resting against the headboard of the bed, his eyes distant as he reflected on the path that had brought him to this moment. The memory machine was a device he had created years ago but was banned from using due to its dangerous nature. However, he had kept it hidden, and now it had proved to be an invaluable tool in his quest to tear apart Alexa and Valle.

Earth Has Fallen

Earth Has Fallen

"Why the hell do you think I'm so keen on giving it to you? Besides, I don't have any plan to travel." "Damn," I sigh, shaking my head. "So where's the car?" "That's the problem," Chuck says. He puts his machete back into its sheath on his back and walks away from the table. Walking up to his wall of weapons, he pulls out two shotguns and throws one at me. "The car is on the other side of the town," Chuck says. He rummages around for a bit, searching through the boxes before stopping at one. Opening the box, he pulls out a large metal bucket and places it next to him.

Stuck with Adam

Stuck with Adam

A tear rolled down my cheek as I recalled the memory. "You were not good for her. You never have been. All you've been to her is toxic," Daniel said, still looking Adam in the eye. Adam bent and picked the bat from the floor, sending it flying through the air as he hurled it towards Daniel. I covered my mouth as a scream erupted from it when I saw that the bat had missed Daniel only by inches.

Dead Weight

Dead Weight

The word appeared alone, somehow wearing an expression. Third, he solved the bucket problem. Clean buckets, grey-water buckets, laundry buckets, and one horrifying mystery bucket had been circulating through the warehouse with the chaotic energy of livestock. Eli painted bands around the handles—blue for clean, grey for wash, red for waste, yellow for medical—and put a chart beside the rack. No meeting. No announcement. No permission requested. By evening, three separate people had used the correct bucket without being told. Maya stood in front of the rack, arms folded.

Fate Of The Mates

Fate Of The Mates

I guess knowing how the witches feel about wolves it makes sense they would treat us like the animals they think of us as. There it sits, about 20 feet ahead of me. Two wolves are already there getting some water. I change up my plan and I search for a bucket, finding one next to the tent over. Nonchalantly, I grab the bucket and walk to the back of the tent. Making sure no one can see me, I pull out the jars and dump them in the bucket. Shoving the jars back into my pockets, I stand and walk over to the well. I step into the open space between the two guys and dip my bucket in, dumping out the potion. I swirl my bucket around a few times, mixing it in.

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Hezekiah opened it within seconds; I didn't expect him to be so close to me when I saw him. "I just need to throw this out," I told him, holding the bucket up. He stepped into the shack and watched from inside as I just threw the whole entire bucket out into the foliage. I briefly looked up into the night and wished I knew stars and moons and the whole sky better; I had no idea what time it was. Were we even on the same day?

ALPHA REXTON, I'M NOT YOUR TRUE LUNA

ALPHA REXTON, I'M NOT YOUR TRUE LUNA

"Put the bucket here first, we'll look for Matilda first." "A--are you sure? I--is it safe here?" I'm just afraid that my bucket will be stolen. He exhaled now. "No one will dare touch my bucket, so put your bucket on top of mine so they'll think it's mine." My eyes looked towards the big bucket on the rock. There was the word "Jackson" written in marker on it. It seemed like he wasn't willing to lose a single bucket of items. In my heart I smiled, even though wolf said that he was very bastard and I also admitted that, but he also had an angelic side to him.

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

Hunt’s own. Livid, Serenity carried the buckets into the loo and refilled them with water. With Serenity hoisting another bucket of water, was Old Mr. Hunt going to get another round of splashing? Old Mr. Hunt was only vulnerable to Serenity’s water strike because he was caught off guard the first time. He tried to take cover behind Zachary. “Seren, the bucket is heavy. Let me.” Zachary, who was aloof a minute ago, went up to carry the bucket for Serenity. He even tenderly uttered, “Don’t toil yourself with the heavy lifting. Just say the word, and I’ll do your bidding.”

She lifted the bucket off her head with supernatural calm and set it down gently. "Who. Did. This?" "Mom, I'm so sorry!" Ken rushed forward, words tumbling out like water from the bucket. "It wasn't meant for you! It was for Kylie and Dad! They were having this epic prank war and it looked so fun that I wanted to join! I used apps to control the lights and change my voice, and the bucket was supposed to hit them when they ran outside, but then I'd reveal it was just a prank, but everything went wrong and—"
