The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

Faint chanting sounds echoed through the air, creating an eerie atmosphere. With this attack landing while the Mountain Mover and Lumen continued their assault, cracks finally appeared on the cocoon. "Damn it!" Felix kept up his relentless attacks. He was really giving everything he had, and he felt his soul energy rapidly dropping. He had gone all-in, holding nothing back. Suddenly, as the cracks on the cocoon multiplied, it finally shattered with a strange noise that made the soul tremble. At that moment, Felix saw what was inside—Koros' body was half black and half red, which looked extremely bizarre.

Shadow Moon

Shadow Moon

"I won't let them harm us." Aunt Cleo's voice sliced through the air like a warning bell, her words laced with urgency and gravity. "Aqua, you need to grasp the true threat of the coven. They're not just ordinary casters. Each possesses unique abilities, ranging from unnaturally swift regeneration and inhuman strength to the sinister power to manipulate creatures and even people, turning them into spies. Some even boast of an unnerving form of immortality, extending their lives far beyond the natural order. And worst of all, they have the terrifying capability to absorb the powers of other casters."

Dark Moon

Dark Moon

My name is Elora and I reside at the Blue Mountain Packhouse. I have a slim figure, long curly blonde hair which I usually wear up in a bun so it is out of my face. My eyes are a deep blue which I love. I am not a normal girl though. You see I am a shewolf, my rank at the packhouse is an omega. I don’t know my parents because they passed away when I was just a tiny baby, so I don’t have any memories of them. The only thing I have is a necklace locket from my mother. I have never taken it off because it makes me feel close to her spirit.

THE HALF BLOOD'S CURSE

THE HALF BLOOD'S CURSE

The old Council leader was waiting in the heart of the fortress. The chamber was vast, its ceiling lost in shadow, its walls lined with alcoves. As Elif's eyes adjusted to the dim light, she realized what the alcoves contained. Bones. Hundreds of bones, thousands of bones, stacked from floor to ceiling in neat, orderly rows. The bones of half-bloods. The bones of the people the old Council leader had drained over centuries. Kara made a sound, a small, wounded noise that Elif had never heard from her before. "These were my people. The shadows I came from. He killed them and used their power to sustain himself."

THE LAST BREEDER, CLAIMED BY FOUR

THE LAST BREEDER, CLAIMED BY FOUR

"That bitch Vex emptied her entire perimeter for this!" He wasn't lying. Through the blown gate, Vex’s horde poured in like an absolute tide of meat and metal. There were scarred, rabid wolves the size of small trucks, roaring rogue humans armed with makeshift shotguns, and cutting through the center were things that made my blood turn to pure ice. Hybrids. Massive, pale-skinned monsters with elongated limbs and hollow gold eyes—the exact same genetic footprint as Ezra, but twisted, scarred, and wearing Thorne’s laboratory branding on their necks. Vex had stolen his data. She had stolen his stock.

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

His crimson eyes were fixed with predatory intent on the center of the Loom-City, where a needle of obsidian crystal pierced a sky made of churning, iridescent mother-of-pearl. "I can feel the brothers, Darlene," Eryx growled. His voice wasn't just a sound; it was a vibration that traveled through the soles of my feet and into my own marrow. "They aren't prisoners in cells. They are Woven. Thousands of wolves from the Grey Pack are being utilized as biological processors—living batteries of 'Grey Virus' energy—to maintain the frame-rate of this reality".

Mi Alfa (The Possessive Alphas Series 1)

Mi Alfa (The Possessive Alphas Series 1)

She added coldly, “Whatever this substance is, it’s feeding off life itself.” Alpha Trevor Cross Wallace, of the Blood Crusade Pack, stepped forward next. His pack, home to both vampires and werewolf-vampire hybrid. Was feared and respected alike. He bowed slightly toward Lucifer, his crimson eyes glinting. “The corruption reached us, too. My hybrids sensed it before I did, a taste of blood in the air that was not ours. When we investigated, we found rogues who had regained their clarity, yet refused salvation. They spoke a name.” His gaze flicked toward Lucifer. “Chaos.”

Ultimate Sorcerers

Ultimate Sorcerers

Amidst the flickering candlelight in her grand chamber, Constantine stood before a gathering of her fellow witches. The room was charged with an atmosphere of palpable tension, and the air seemed to thicken as she began to speak. "Witches of our coven," Constantine's voice rang out, commanding the attention of all who were present. Her eyes, gleaming with a newfound darkness, surveyed the assembly. "As your Supreme Sorcerer, I stand before you with grave news. A prophecy, one of ancient origins, threatens our existence."

To love a Lich

To love a Lich

Elric stopped at a page with a brown smudge across the bottom, which held a recipe titled "Lich Eternal". It was a horrible spell calling for items Aelfric had never heard of, not to mention a hefty blood sacrifice. It called for something called "Claimed Chimera claw", and "Horbus Moreas pollin". He could hardly make out the directions, but the notes scribbled at the bottom of the page read "Consciousness lost 8 hours. Eyes bled briefly upon waking. Stimuli are strange. Hard surfaces feel malleable, I am unbreathing, though my heart beats still.

Wolfbane

Wolfbane

"You're welcome to come help us track, of course. It could be your first warrior experience. Although, probably best you don't come to the torture portion." "What happens during a torture?" I mindlinked him. I heard a noise behind me and turned to see that some warriors were approaching. He looked at them and then turned back to me, mindlinking me, "I get to practice my butchering skills on live mammals, with very sharp knives." I shivered. I'd never seen him look so evil before, it was almost frightening. One thing was clear—Blake Wulfric was not someone you'd ever want to cross.
