Return Of A Sinister

Return Of A Sinister

He said with a puffed out chest and proud tone. Among the horses, there was Septa, a spirited mare with a coat that mirrored the vibrant colors of a sunrise. Her mane and tail flowed like liquid fire, weaving a tapestry of brilliance as she galloped through the meadows. By her side was Midnight, a stallion with a coat as dark as the night sky, adorned with stars that glimmered with a celestial glow. In a corner stall stood labroha, a gentle mare with a coat as pure as moonlight itself. She possessed an ethereal beauty that captivated all who gazed upon her, and her presence radiated a soothing calmness that whispered of forgotten secrets.

Layla

I may not deserve it, but I needed it. “Thank you, Sir.” I picked up the pouch, then handed him a gem. “Can I please buy a horse and your carriage?” He grinned at me, then let out a laugh. It was only fair to buy them since he had given me so much already. “Yes dear, you can. Let’s go pick you out a horse.” He got up from the table, and I followed, grabbing the cheese off the plate. I felt I could eat a little bit now. He had cheered me up by talking about how kind my mother was. We went into his horse barn, and there were 3 horses. There was a white horse with an odd mark in the center of his back. It was the shape of flames going down his spine with wings on either side of it. The mark le

I nodded my head at the direction of the table. Morgana glanced at me and at the bowl. She picked up the bowl and smiled at me. "It's a porridge potion." She answered and I arched my brows in confusion. "What's that for?" "I made it specially for you." She stirred the content in the bowl. I peered into the bowl. The so called portion was a sticky white substance. I bet it'd be better as hell. "I think you being a weak power carrier made you vulnerable to Sage's attacks. Hence, I made it for you. It'll heal you from the internal injuries his powers might have caused and this will also strengthen you." She told me and stopped stirring.

Marvelous Mishap

Marvelous Mishap

Amber was now fully awake, her tablet was now recharged and there she sat quietly watching cartoons and eating her snack. Reign shrieked and jammed the brakes when two reindeers leaped across the road causing her to lose control of the car. The reindeers continued to leap and went straight into the woods. She was still trying to get control of her car but the road was beyond slippery and she ended up off the road, into the woods, and going down a snowy slope. Bumping and crashing against trees and rocks. She looked back at Amber, who at any moment was about to start crying with fright and fear.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Andrew remained calm, explaining, "Since you're curious, let me break it down for you in simpler terms. For the first race, everyone underestimated the mixed-breed horse because of its lower charging speed than purebreds. Any casual racing fan would know that. However, Mr. Thatcher might have overlooked that while mixed breeds lack explosive power, they excel in endurance, which is their key advantage." He waved his hand, gesturing toward the racetrack as he continued, "This club's track is nearly 50 meters longer than standard tracks. That extra distance allowed the mixed breed to showcase its superior stamina, ultimately overtaking the faster but less enduring horses, which decided the rac

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Steamy Horseback Affair

Steamy Horseback Affair

"Pffft—!" The chestnut horse snorted loudly and paced back and forth. "Ah! Connor, hold me!" Madeline's cry snapped me out of my daze. Right—such a gorgeous lady was right in front of me. How could I not act? "Don't be afraid. I've got the reins. Come on, I'll lead you around once." As I spoke, I guided the horse along the track. Excited, it pawed at the ground and began to trot, its body bouncing lightly.

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

My fingers laced with Luci’s as we walked into a large dome area. Large cages of animals and creatures I had never seen sat in each cell. Some were downright scary, with large teeth and eyes that glowed in the dark. Dark colors donned their skin with signs that hung on the cages that said, ‘do not touch.’ One cage held a large horse-like creature, but instead of four legs, it only had two and a large tail replacing the hind legs. “Look, Luci! It’s a merhorse!” I giggled as its nose came closer to the cage. I nuzzled it and cooed at the bright yellow animal with hints of scales on its body.

Great story, I’m a fan of mythology and this novel has an unique and interesting way of combining folk tales, pagan and Christian beliefs. I loved the story and the outlines of every character and it’s way of redemption/salvation.

Falling For The Enemy

Falling For The Enemy

Rodrigo galloped faster and faster on his horse. He was riding a sprightly mare named Hera. She was stark white and so beautiful. An absolute pleasure to ride. He loved that his stud farm covered acres of land, allowing him to ride for miles without any probing eyes. And he did ride, every single day if possible. His morning rides were the highlight of his days. He stopped Hera at a small little hilltop and gazed over his lands with awe. In the morning sunlight, he could see the farm already in action. Horses grazed in the pastures. Xerxes was training in the special enclosure designed for him. His staff was going about their duties, moving in and out of the various sheds and buildings. He l

BLOODBOUND: The Wolf, The King and The Killer

BLOODBOUND: The Wolf, The King and The Killer

One who knew something was eating him alive from the inside, and if I didn’t act now, he’d rot before I could dig it out of him. He laced his boots, threw on his gloves, and finally gave me a dry look. “You always this persistent?” “You know I am.” “Tch. Let’s go before I regret this.” I clapped him on the shoulder hard enough to jolt him forward. “There’s the spirit.” The stable smelled like leather, hay, and raw muscle. Just how I liked it. The horses were already out and saddled, their glossy black coats shimmering in the light slicing through the overhead beams. Marcus had picked my favorite—the one I called Crow. Smart beast. Fast as hell. A bastard to control if you didn’t respect him.

Mated To The Cruel Prince

Mated To The Cruel Prince

"Who wants to join me?" The Cruel Prince muttered just as he mounted his black stallion. While that seemed like a normal horse it was obvious from the dark tendrils emanating from the horse's eyes that it had been infused with his dark magic. The horse named Maximus was a strong yet unruly horse and there had been plans of putting it down after its last attack on the poor Fae who had attempted to subdue it until Prince Aldric claimed and was able to tame it. It was obvious from the way both the master and the horse worked together that they were perfect for each other.
