Novel & Cerita Housemaids Book

“What’s your favorite dessert?” As she spoke, I had already made a mental note to wear the cologne I had in more often, she seemed to like it a lot. “Favorite dessert,” I repeated those words and raised an eyebrow, stiffening a bit as soon as the maids came in bearing the lunch I had ordered prepared beforehand. They kept their heads bowed, their eyes away from Keira and from me, as they were meant to. Still, I never quite overlooked them. Maids, just like guards, were a part of most wealthy households but easily overlooked. Anyone who wasn't careful could easily find their homes riddled with spies.

And I know that this is a good one. And I’m willing to nurture and let it grow. If it means the goal is her. Amanda. As I close the door of my bedroom, I saw the maids were busy cleaning the mansion. I couldn’t recall the exact workers I have here, inside my mansion. If I were to estimate, it would be around thirty plus? I’m not so sure. But I think it is pretty close to it. “Morning!” I greeted them with a smile. “Good morning too, Sir.”

In the next two hours, the maids packed all my things and dumped them in the living room like they were trash. I stood frozen, my mind unable to process what was happening. A bitter scoff broke through the silence. "How can she be so shameless?" one of the maids sneered, crossing her arms as she looked me up and down with disgust. Another maid snickered. "I know, right? Thinking she could baby-trap Nicolas King and become a rich lady of the society? What a joke. As if a man like him would ever fall for a pathetic scheme like that."

Given Rolland's carefree personality and solitary living, things were often misplaced, requiring her considerable effort to organize them properly. By the time she stepped out of the compact apartment, it was already approaching afternoon. She made her way straight back to the mansion, feeling a subtle pull towards the place she could call home, no matter how much she resisted. As she entered the house, it struck her as unusual that the atmosphere was so quiet upon opening the door. Considering she hadn't returned the previous night, she had sent a text message to Maria, their maid, informing her not to come today. There shouldn't be anyone else present in the household. Adjusting her shoes,

she sighed. She couldn't even swallow her food anymore. She got up and instructed the servants who were lined in rows to clean the table up before she went back to her room. The servants felt bad that they were going to throw away the untouched food again. They shook their heads while wiping the table and whispered. "Life of rich is never happy and contented. Living alone in this big mansion isn't exactly an ideal way of living!" As for Isabella, she lazily slumped against the cushions on her five-seater couch staring blankly on her comfy queen sized bed. She emitted a long, deep, audible breath expressing the emptiness in her heart.

“They say it’s always so messy and specially for punishment “ she added turning to face me with a clenched jaw. “Punishment?” I asked surprised. Why would Mrs Adams want to punish me? I can’t think of anything I’ve done wrong. Why does she despise me? Isn’t working here as a maid punishment enough? Mary finally stopped in front of a wooden door covered in cobwebs. I heard the sound of a heavy gulp before she pushed the door open. It was a normal sized room with nothing but boxes and dirt. It wasn’t as bad as they said. There was one thing that was certain in this mansion. Everyone either gossips, spreads rumors, exaggerate or lie.

If Lorenzo wanted to see me, then might as well comply with what he ordered. I walked through the Estate’s almost empty halls. The maids were mostly busy cleaning or keeping themselves busy in fear that they would lose their jobs. They were not allowed to make a sound as they worked and seeing as I knew that; I was surprised that each one of them didn’t easily choose to speak as to be fired. She would have a better opportunity working elsewhere if she wanted to, but it seemed like each one of the ladies just wanted to get paid, not caring about whether or not they had lost their dignity.

Then the maid slammed the door of the closet and and left the room. I slowly began to look at the layout of the room. The maid's room was not much furnished except for the beds and a few chairs. There was a yellow lamp beside the bed, and the chairs were obviously rotten and not getting the chance to be replaced. I thought of Emily, the woman who could safely be a blood slave in Leonardo Elliot's house, who dressed and spoke differently from the blood slaves here. Perhaps Leonardo Elliot was the supreme authority, so his blood slaves were different from other blood slaves.

It was a document that contains the information about the right attitude of maids that was written by Sarai’s mother. The document was a rough sketch of how the whole book will be and how each expression will be dealt with. I was just thinking about how possible such books will be here. Also, the version of that book o am aware of has the name of the new head maid in it. That leaves me with the question of who is lying or being truthful. I thought to myself that I need to act silly but since there’s not so much time for that, I have to do what I’ve got to do to make sure I have the chances to do that later.
