How Did Arya Go Blind Novels & Stories

For Ayra, it was a desperate attempt to channel the storm raging within. The wooden blades clashed, the dull thud echoing through the arena. Elara, surprised by Ayra's uncharacteristic aggression, stumbled back a step. Ayra pressed her advantage, unleashing a flurry of attacks, each strike fueled by a year's worth of simmering hatred. Elara, caught off guard by the sudden shift in tempo, struggled to defend herself. Ayra's blade sang through the air, a blur of vengeance. Just as Ayra landed a blow that would have sent Elara sprawling, a sharp whistle pierced the air.

Gripped by a bone-chilling fear, I instinctively cried out, "Skyler, please help me! My eye hurts!" I kept calling out to him but didn't receive a response. Within moments, I was surrounded by flames. I thought I would die then and there. Fortunately, firefighters arrived at the last moment and pulled me out of the fire. … My vision was still mostly dark when I opened my eyes again. The doctor regretfully told me the glass shard had severely damaged my right eye, so I was now blind in that eye. As for my left eye, I had already suffered substantial vision loss due to a childhood illness. Because of this, the sight in that eye was very limited.

He crossed the distance in two strides, scooped Vivienne off the floor and into his arms. He checked her arm, his eyes full of concern. He never once looked at me. He stepped right over my body lying in a pool of blood. He carried Vivienne toward the door. "You'd better pray she's alright." The door slammed shut. Years of forced Power Transfers had gutted my wolf. I'd lost the healing ability every werewolf was born with. The pain dragged me under. My vision went black at the edges. Before I lost consciousness completely, I fumbled the phone from my pocket.

Not a question. "I don't know what—" "Fire escape." She tapped the glass. "Third rung squeaks. I reported it last month. Maintenance hasn't come." She turned. Sunglasses off. Gray eyes. Clear. Focused. *Seeing me.* "I've been blind for three months, Yan. Cornea transplant. Sixteen years of darkness, and now I see everything." She stepped closer. "Including you. Standing there. Pretending." I stood. "Why?" "Why what?"

Her fuse smoldered shorter in her chest. “He’ll tear that bunker apart,” Aria said quietly. “He’ll know you were there.” “I know,” Lys said. She started walking. Every step sent little shocks up her spine. Her left hand twitched uselessly at her side. The blind half of her vision made the world lopsided; she favored the clearer right, trusting Aria to warn her about what she couldn’t see. “You could still turn around,” Aria said, unable to stop herself. “The cascade won’t grab his implant anymore. Proximity isn’t a death sentence now. You could let him catch up and—”

Hands raised. Damn... he's big. You can't handle him, Auri. I will. Arya pressed forward in my consciousness, and I tried to free myself from the sled vines. My mouth began to water as the shift began. The pain was less than the first time, but it still made me double over and groan as she surged into control and my body contorted. But the shift stalled, both of us too weak to survive it, and she faded with a weak, pained whine. I wasn't long after her, crumpling to the ground in a heap as the man's hazy figure rushed toward us.

He rips open with a deafening yell, coating the rest of her body in hot sticky blood, his body falling with a dull thud, his eyes stay open, staring at me and I'm transported back to another scene like this in my mind. The scent of blood was everywhere, but it's the eyes that haunt me. I was running late to meet them, so I was literally sprinting through the forest, oblivious to my surroundings and I saw Arya first, looking straight at me as she leaned back against the tree. I remember waving at her and wondering why she didn't react, my steps didn't falter until I was by her side, shaking her, kneeling in the blood soaked forest floor. Her blood. I looked around, seeing the others in simila

He didn't have any sense of time. There was a knock. Then the door creaked open half a way and someone half entered the room. It was Arya. He rose at once. "Arya—do you have to walk like that?" She leaned against the doorpost, her eyes unwavering. "Nothing did happen to my legs," she said. "The wheelchair was only so I wouldn't stress myself." He took a step closer. "Are you certain? You still need to rest." "I'm okay."

She had always had weak skin so she expected it but she didn't expect her mother who had always tried her best to be careful with her to make her bleed. She ignored her wound and bent down to pick up the pictures, her crimson blood staining the white parts of the pictures. She could clean it later. “These pictures....” Arya exclaimed softly with wide eyes. “I can't believe you were that type of woman... You've crossed my bottom line, Arya.” These were photos of her and the man she met at the hotel but with the angles they took it from, it looked like they had a special type of relationship. But he seemed so nice... How could he have been working with Blair to ruin her?
