"Let's go downstairs and watch some TV." Bonnie frowned, "uhh, are you mocking me or something?" She asked Lorenzo mentally face palmed, "No-umm-I mean, I have a blindfold-" Bonnie giggled, "So you want to go downstairs and watch TV with me, a blind girl while wearing a blindfold?" Lorenzo cleared his throat, "Yes." He firmly said, raising his chin up. Bonnie only shrugged, "Alright." They went downstairs and sat on the huge leather couch. Lorenzo switched on the TV and handed the blindfold to Bonnie. "Care to help?" She smiled and took the blindfold from him. Bonnie put the blindfold over his eyes and he turned around making it easier for Bonnie to tie it.

I ordered and in an instant, a path was made for me to pass through. “What's going on?” I asked moving to the front and my jaw dropped when my eyes met an eerie sight. Arya was lying in a pool of her own blood with a knife staked through her belly floating on top of the lake.

"My body might be weak, Lucian. I might not be able to shift yet. But my mind belongs to me. My soul hates you. Every single drop of blood in my veins despises what you are." I pushed against his chest with all the strength my trembling arms could muster. "If you want your sight back, you are going to have to drag me to the altar kicking and screaming. You are going to have to force every single piece of this bond because I will never give it to you willingly.” The pain in my abdomen twisted, but I forced it down, letting anger take its place. “You earned your blindness, Lucian. You deserve the dark. And if it's up to me, you will stay blind until the day you rot.”

“Try and stop me from seeing you. I’m having you moved officially into my room. I want you close as often as possible.” He kisses me and I hold him close as I kiss him back. It takes Rowena clearing her throat for us to split apart. He gives me one more grin before he turns and leaves us to our training. Rowena and I turn to find a place where we can sit. “Alright, right now we are just going to do some meditation. We need you to be able to clear your mind and focus on what’s inside of you and around you without your sight. Eventually, you need to be able to call on those things with your eyes open too. I brought a blindfold just in case.”

He wanted to know what you are thinking… “That’s an invasion of privacy!” I yelled, “But how?” “Well, I am after all one of the gifted….I could read anyone’s intentions by just merely looking at their eyes.” I gasped, not hearing of that. I had never heard of any wolf with gifts. I thought it was just a myth. So they…exists?” “Yes, we exit, Arya.” He answered me, saying out loud my thoughts. “So unless you want to stay here and gawk at my awesomeness, then I’ll leave you to your own.”

Shouldn’t he have some immunity? She wasn’t sure what to make of the events unfolding before her. She had never used her aura before. She wasn’t expecting it to do this. To be that powerful. She was scared to keep the command up any longer. She slowly pulled her aura back allowing everyone to get to their feet. The moment Alpha Mitchell stood up Arya’s attention snapped to him. She noticed he was beat red. His jaw was clenched, and his fists were balled. He looked like he was ready to kill her.

She stood up, standing in front of him. His mouth dropped open and he looked into her eyes. It was one thing to be a woman's bodyguard, but one who was blind, he just wasn't equipped to deal with that. "No one told me you were a woman, nor that you were blind. Am sorry for making that remark." He couldn't stop his eyes from moving down to her chest when she got up and stood close to him.

“Kill her, Ethan. End it. Marry me, and let’s stop playing games.” For the first time, something subtle shifted in his expression. Not shock. Not anger. But calculation. He exhaled slowly. “You are speaking emotionally,” he said quietly. “I am speaking realistically,” she shot back. “She cannot see. The doctor already confirmed it. She will never recover her sight. You don’t need her anymore. You need what she owns.” Ethan’s gaze lowered slightly. The mention of the medical diagnosis lingered in his mind. Permanent blindness. No recovery expected.

"Where is he going today?" ​"To the office. The real one," Ava said, watching my reaction closely. "He mentioned taking you there later. I’d advise you to put on some actual clothes and wipe the 'I just fell in love with my step-villain' look off your face before he gets back." ​"I am not in love with him!" I shouted, the effort making my head throb again. ​"Keep telling yourself that," Ava said, walking toward the door. She paused, looking back over her shoulder. "By the way, Arya Stark survives. But she doesn't do it by crying into a man's neck. She does it by becoming someone else."

She followed closely behind him and the two disappeared into the forest. "Did you notice?" Weaver asked and Alex nodded. "Her brother is blind. That's probably why she thought it best to talk it out." Alex said and Weaver nodded. "Don't tell the others about the male being blind. It'll provoke some of the others to try and run him off." Alex said and Weaver nodded in understanding. "I'll take a group to start setting up markers upon our new territory." Wever said and Alex nodded wondering how someone who couldn't see had survived this long. He had help from his sister but he didn't seem to rely on her. . . .
