How Do I Find The Genre Of A Book Novels & Stories

"I'll be right here." I get up and wander toward the book sections. The library is organized by subject, with fiction on one side and non-fiction on the other. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, so I just start walking through the aisles, letting my eyes scan the shelves. I pass through the science section, then the history section, then literature. Nothing really grabs my attention until I reach the yearbook section. As I'm browsing through the section, one particular book catches my eye. It's a black book, smaller than most of the others on the shelf, and something about it draws me toward it.

" They jumped up and ran down the corridor to the library section, tugging and trying to screw each other. They were howling with laughter, and then I heard the noise of a cue stick striking a billiard ball. I shook my head as someone mumbled a low curse. "Didn't you say you were going to look for a book?" Gigi remarked. I hopped up from the couch and proceeded down the aisle, where I noticed the three guys leaning over the billiard table. They were looking at the arrangement of the existing pool-colored spheres, and I just rolled my eyes and walked by them, concentrating more on the bookcases rather than the table to where they were. Where most important information was kept for a reason I couldn't understand. The library design wasn't alphabetical, it was divided in genres. My fingers skimmed across the cracked leather spines as I read each one until I pulled out one on vampire lore. Then another. And another. The books were heavy, not like I had anything better to do. I took as much as I could carry to the study area. I devoured the words, page after page, skimming through the history of their kind, how they fed, and their transformation. But nothing explained what I was.

I went to the library, with Max still following me after he finished the spaghetti. I entered the library and saw books of different genres. I was amazed at how big the library was, and there were more history books, which is one of my favourite genres. I looked through the shelves, searching for the right one to read. There were so many options to read, so I decided on two. Walking to the chair, I gave one to Max who gave me a surprised look. "You can't just keep staring at me all night, you can read this" he took it from me

I quickly added, just in case it was rude to be here without purchasing anything. "Sure dear. What genre do you read?" She didn't look angry at all. I sighed inwardly, glad I didn't offend her. "You could try billionaire romance. It's a good genre, one young people wish to live out in reality." She gave a suggestion, holding my hand as she lead me through the shelves. All through the time she took me around the shelves, showing me different books, I kept my eyes at for any suspicious looking person or anyone that stared at me for too long.

I was certain I would find mine before him, though, because it looked like I was on the right track to finding it. There was a problem with this particular library, though. This library didn't have its books arranged in the proper order. The books were arranged haphazardly, with no care for order or easy location. Most libraries either had their books arranged in alphabetical order or according to author's names or according to the genres but this particular one didn't have any of that. Everything was joined together with everything and it made finding a book so difficult. I wonder why the Alpha had it like that, though.

'' I kept the book I was reading aside and walked up to him. ''How may I help you, Sir?'' He smiled, one that didn't quite reach his eyes. ''I need a book, a very interesting one.'' His smile looked....I couldn't place the word but there was just something odd about him. ''What genre do you read?'' I asked, trying to come up with a book for him. ''Horror.'' He said slowly, taking a step towards me. My legs moved back on instinct and he followed until my back hit the shelf. His hands came up slowly almost touching, my heart was beating wildly in my chest praying someone would come out of nowhere.

I wait until the door shuts behind me and I can't help but giggle in excitement as I'm finally able to look at the bookstands filled with what I assume to be thousands of books. Where do I even start? I make my way down the first aisle, briefly scanning the first couple of shelves. I quickly realize that not only are these books in alphabetical order by title, but they are also organized by genre and I have not the slightest clue of what I want to read. Truth be told, I didn't think that I was going to make it this far. I continue browsing through the shelves and I just barely make it to the second aisle when I hear the door open and shut and my eyes snap in the direction of the door.

"You don't have a particular genre of books or movies. You don't have a favourite comedian. Is there anything particular you like?" "When I say nothing in particular, it's because I watch and read anything. If it's on TV, even if it sucks, I watch it. With books, if the blurb looks catchy, I'll read it. I am not likelier to choose or drop something based on what genre or who it is. I give everything a shot. If it ends up bad, I know I won't repeat it, and if it is phenomenal, I'll keep it in mind for the future."
