How I Write A Novel

The novel is set in the modern time, its the year 2024 and Callie the protagonist is trying to get into a prestigious art school, she spends a whole day working on her canvas without food, sleep or even water and passes out on the floor, when she wakes up she’s in a familiar but not so familiar attic, same design and outline but the things in it weren’t hers, just as she’s about to completely lose it a boy seemingly two or three years older than her walks in and straight through her. She wakes up on her attic floor covered in paint with a splitting headache, she’s back to normal. She brushes the experience off as a lucid dream but more strange things start happening and Callie realizes that the world she knows is weirder than it seems

When my husband Joshua dragged his student Linda Moore into our apartment, I didn't even blink—I gave up the bed. Last time, it'd been pouring when he showed up with her in the middle of the night. Told me to crash on the floor with my daughter Mia and gave Linda the bed like it was nothing. I lost it. Fought with him, snapped at her. She bolted, slipped into a ditch, and supposedly drowned. Joshua said nothing. Then, one night, with the storm going wild outside, he pried open a manhole and dumped me and Mia in like trash. "Linda's my mentor's daughter. She's dead—how am I supposed to face him? You two can apologize yourselves." We didn't even get to scream before that freezing, disgusting water swallowed us whole. Turns out, Linda faked the whole thing. Just a twisted joke to punish me. Joshua moved her in right after, like nothing happened. Now, thunder cracked again as the door opened—and there he was, Linda right behind him.

“But why do I have to marry him? He was promised to Whitney, not me. I don't even love him”, I said, hoping Mom would understand. “This is not about your feelings Charlotte. It's about saving the family name from shame. You will marry Josh Xavier to save our family from shame. The reputation of this family is more important than your emotions,” Mom said, and Whitney stifled her laughter. Charlotte McCartney is the younger daughter of  Mrs Ashley McCartney. As a result, his girlfriend Whitney McCartney breaks up with him, and he becomes a bitter man determined to make the life of his new wife miserable.  But how long can he keep this up?
