From what I'm reading, the live much longer than werewolves and vampires. The first one was still alive when this was written around 15 years ago. That would make it nearly 125 years old now. I don't see anything on what could possibly kill one as each race has been under this peace treaty over the past hundred-twenty-five years. However, it does mention something about their blood being pitch black. I grimace at the thought. I don't see much else that could help us in defeating them, so I close the book and put it away. I check the time and look out to study the scenery. We still have a day's journey left.
