"I was wondering if Hecate told you about a book called Knowledge?" I froze in his arms, the mention of the book making my stomach tighten. And if she dies he will hunt the whole city." Who is the girl and who is he. It's CONFUSING!! I wanted to throw the book in the dustbin but something inside me pushed to read further. I relaxed in my seat and flipped the first page. But it seems not only the first page is missing, but there are also up to 30 pages are missing. The book totally has 60 pages, each has 12 to 15 lines.

Countless books lined the shelves. Leaning forward, I picked up an old, rusty spellbook. After brushing off the dust and cobwebs, I opened it to find potions, magics, and spells of all kinds. “But how do I know which is the right one?” I wondered aloud. A brief silence followed. Then, a noise came from the back. My heart skipped. Moving closer to investigate, I spotted a small, aged book on the floor. Picking it up, I skimmed the first few pages. The book focused mainly on werewolves. Opening it further, my eyes widened—there, written boldly on the middle page, were potions, spells, and a cure for werewolf illness.

Cadence envisioned an ancient Vampire sitting down with squid’s ink or the blood of a freshly beheaded chicken to dip his crooked talon in a well and scratch each letter out on the page.
