How Many Words In A Chapter Novels & Stories

So gentlewolves (this is my nickname for my readers. I just came up with it, what do you my gentlewolves think?) So on to the reason why I am writing this note before the start of the chapter... I was wondering that maybe my chapters are too long So I'll be making it shorter Now instead of the 1k+ words I usually write I'll be writing 600-700 words from now till further notice That is if you my gentlewolves are happy with it

Anyone wants to help me with editing of chapters ? I am thinking of having some rederss to help m with it . You will have to edit at least hundred or thousand words per day. Since that is the amount of words that are right and fourth chapter or somewhere around two thousand I'm not sure if you are interested or not but just a sort of helping me since I'm overloaded with other work but I can write the chapter and give it to you and then later on you can see and edit them hope that works out

I carry out my updates like this to avoid unduly stretching the book, as I plan to finish this book with just sixty to sixty-five chapters. If I update everyday, I would have to be updating an average of fourteen thousand words in a week, which is kind of a lot for me to handle as I am also busy with work and other things. Thank you so much for those who actually took their time to share their complaints with me. I really appreciate it. I understand that the time difference amongst all of us may differ, and may affect when most of us expect the update, but please do bear with me. Thank you so much again for reading my book. It means a lot.

Most have asked how long the book will be. My editor and I are still discussing it, but it should be around 300 chapters because it will have Zane and Ian's story incorporated. Note: The following chapters' word counts will decrease dramatically by 500 words. This change is due to a realization that have dawned upon me. Hey guys, We are a few chapters away from completion. And as much as I wanted to make the story longer by adding additional twists and turns, it's already longer than planned. It was initially a 75-ish chapter, but I later realized that some details would be abruptly cut, hence the extension.

The estate piece had been somewhere between, its length determined by the need to introduce Thomas and the grandfather and the obligation of the middle position without letting any of these elements overbalance the others. The last chapter was shorter than all of them. It ran to just under three thousand words. But the word count was not the measure of what the chapter demanded. What it demanded was something that the essays had not required, or had required in smaller measure: the sustained inhabiting of the personal position without the protection of the argumentative structure that distance provides.

The good thing, though, is that each chapter will be around 2000 words or more because I aim to finish this world in 27 chapters or less. Also~. This world will probably be more interesting than the subsequent worlds, and I promise an enjoyable plot and lots of smut. Yes, there will be smut in this world, and it will definitely be spicy hehe. As for whether it’s a BE or HE, that’s a secret (｡•̀ᴗ-). And lastly, to all my readers who didn’t quit WAST after this long break, I am very grateful and promise to show it with consistent uploads and an interesting story! Thank you for all your support!

Rating it poorly because of what you don’t even know is cruel and malicious. I am sad and angry. I am a reader as much as I am a writer and I have read books with short chapters and understood what short chapters meant. Most times my chapter ends at 2.5k or 3k words, but because I know the coin consumption would be higher, I split the chapter into 2. I don’t like it but I have to understand and be considerate. I am taking this as an outlet to let you know sometimes we do what we do to make it easier for every reader. Getting rated poorly because of it is cruel. I barely get many reviews on the front page of the book so a review this poor would set me back so far.
