How Many Words In A Novelette Novels & Stories

Nor am I certain the story I want to tell warrants a full-length novel. Bearing all that in mind, I've decided to continue Rhett and Brynlee's story here in the form of a novella, which will start serializing tomorrow. For those of you still here and waiting patiently, thank you so much! Words can never express how grateful I am for each and every one of you! See you back here tomorrow! Cara

I ask her. "Come look at my novel. You can read some chapters if you like," she said, giggling. I scanned her laptop and saw that she has almost 350 pages for her novel. That's a lot of words. "I would love to read some of it," I replied, feeling excited at the prospect of getting a glimpse into Max's creative mind. Max opened up her laptop and showed me the first few chapters of her novel. As I read through them, I was impressed by her writing style and the way she crafted her characters and their relationships.

I didn't know how true that was, and for very different reasons than I had imagined. That was the start of my Christmas vacation, but far from the end. Up to this point, I've written in excess of the required 3000 words (3212). I've also front loaded my vocabulary words. Dr. Hamilton, if you could find it in your heart to commiserate with my plight, please read no further, and grade me on what I've written so far. * * *

-Come on, the princess agreed, calling her favorite knit socks. The corridors fork in the castle. There is a plethora of new, shiny doors in each. The roads lead upwards, they have turns, stairs that go down, corridors ... Torches on the walls light up and cast flickering lights. Still, there are more half-shadows than lighted places. There is no torch burning in one area. There is an old, very dusty door, covered with a thick layer of cobwebs. A set of strange symbols appear udder the cobwebs. The cat unleashes his sword and cuts the cobwebs.

Dear Reader, I really hope you enjoyed this 42-chapter story that spun for over three months on Goodnovel and sadly but gloriously it has come to an end. An end that I believe I delivered quite well, having penned the final words of this story. The idea to develop it actually began way back in 2017 when I was still in high school and I'm finally glad to have been able to craft it much to everybody's liking. I really do hope it coined a spot in your libraries and with all that said, don't forget to drop a comment, a vote and also share this story to your fellow readers.

Read to find out! The Hunt was my first full novel, and my first attempt writing something longer than a few hundred words, so your feedback is invaluable. I would love to know what you thought and where things can be improved! This is my second draft - the first draft only had 120K words but there were so many more details I wanted to share. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. Stay safe! Much love - Michelle

of 164 chapters who had finally found a voice. "Do you feel it, Nora?" the Co-Writer asked, her voice echoing with the resonance of a thousand scratched-out sentences. "The weight of the margins. For every page of your 'Epic Romance,' there were ten pages of us being discarded. For every kiss you shared with Julian, a minor character was written into a shallow grave to provide 'atmosphere.' Today, the margins are taking the page." The Siege of the Narrative

What a relief! AUTHOR’S NOTE: Some chapters are split in two parts because they are very long, sometimes over 3 thousand words. This way they will be less expensive for you all. Comment if you are appreciating the story.

Instead there will be action, technology and a few gore scene, not to forget explicit language romance (precisely erotica) 9) This is my first story in mafia romance pn Goodnovel.com and it is a stand alone novel. Although it will be splitted further into parts. 10) All chapters are 1.5k - 2k words. 11) As a reader myself I don't like unnecessary dragging, thus the chapters will be fast paced with fully developed characters. 12) Check out my other mafia themed narration imbued with tech and action on (Webnovel) ~ Femme Fatale: The Queen Of Chess

We have come to the end, and while it is a bit abrupt, I’d like to clarify some things. The book is already at 290 thousand plus words, I was really worried about its readability because anything longer would probably scare readers off. I don’t know how everything usually operates because I am a mildly new author on the platform and this is my first completed book, but it felt like Luna Scarlett was getting long, and if I was to go further into settling some other points in the story….. It’d have been way longer. Now to pick up some of the points I left unfilled in the story (Without giving any spoilers of course.)
