Elissa went through the person's request and decided to make it. She made her hair into a messy bun and went to get her sketchbook and pencils. Accumulating all the items required she started to draw. She got so immersed in the process that she didn't realize it was already very late. It was two in the morning but she didn't care. She would be done in half an hour as she thought but it took her an hour to complete the design. Once she was satisfied with the design, she sent the drawing to that person and let out a yawn. She was feeling extreme tiredness and so slept on the spot. Within a few minutes, she was asleep.

I whispered promises into the darkness: No one would touch him. No one would erase me. And no one especially Lila or Estelle would ever underestimate me again. Tomorrow, the web would tighten. And I would be ready. The city had a rhythm all its own horns, sirens, footsteps, the distant hum of a train. But in the small apartment I had claimed for Leo and me, that rhythm was irrelevant. The books were a revelation. Jasmine traced the leather scrollwork on a book’s blood red cover, admiring the craftsmanship. The gilt edges of the pages and the gold title winked in her reading light. The Haunt were a people who took pride in their literature and wrote even their histories with passion. No bloodless recitals of bare facts here. She scooted down against her raised pillows, seeking a more comfortable position. It was after midnight, but her mind was too seduced by the glory of Haunt history to give in to slumber. The first book she’d read had barely mentioned charmers, but this one seemed more promising.

“Sorry if I am late. I know your office hours end right about now.” “I have all night,” Professor Vance answered quickly. “I wanted to return this book to you.” I handed him the volume he had given me that morning. Vance took it, brows drawn together. “You do not want to read it?” “I have already finished.” He stared at me with wide hazel eyes. “It has only been a couple of hours, and the book is nearly three hundred pages. You finished it?” “Yes,” I said, finally relaxing under his intense gaze. “I really enjoyed it.”

Now is a really good time since I'm alone and not expecting any visitors. I really can't explain just how time flies. I've been reading the book and I'm on CHAPTER thirty-five. It just feels like I read chapter one five seconds ago. But now it's almost 5 pm. I take my phone under the pillow taking a little bit of a break from the book. I get all these messages and missed calls from Bruna telling me to get online. This doesn't sound good.

There's still time for dinner, so, Soheila went to her soft bed and took out the books that she got from the library. (Ahh, I hope this is different from what I've been reading.) Soheila read all the ten books that she got from the library after an hour. She took three hours. It was quite long since Soheila accidentally slept for two hours and a half. She was delighted that some of the books that she picked were different from what she's been reading. Some of the books were about how the North Kingdom became the number one when it should be balanced. Soheila got interested in it. Not until she read the same plot a few times.

Denera The library was really quiet like it usually is in a library. But this time, there was no one else there at all. It even felt a little bit dusty. I remember feeling amazed when I first came in here. There were so many books, it was like a dream come true. I even felt like the character Belle from the story Beauty and the Beast. But now, three hours have passed, and I've already read two books. The first one was about the history of the pack, but it got kind of boring, so now I'm reading a fanfiction story about werewolves and vampires that someone wrote.

It must've been hours later when he opened them again because Kenzie was awake and watching him. She had a book in her lap, some romance novel with a couple embracing on the cover. She blushed and tucked the book in her chair. "Hans found them in the embassy library for me. He must have seen me going crazy, and I needed a distraction. How do you feel?" She scooched her chair closer and carefully curled her fingers around his arm.
