How Many Words In A Novelette Novels & Stories

I wish I could respond to the comments here on GoodNovel, but that is not a feature that is easily accessible for authors on the desktop. This chapter is a little over 1500 words on my end so I believe it will become 2 when it updates. As I get closer tothe end of the book, I am going back to clarify things for continuity. Although there is a remarkable difference in the number of words (37,000), there were no plot changes. I am currently rewriting Book 2, and there are minute changes to the plot. Things I wished I put in there after I had already started publishing. Once I've finished rewriting, the book will also become available. I will be writing some of the smaller books, as there are plot twists that make sense when those books are read.

The good thing, though, is that each chapter will be around 2000 words or more because I aim to finish this world in 27 chapters or less. Also~. This world will probably be more interesting than the subsequent worlds, and I promise an enjoyable plot and lots of smut. Yes, there will be smut in this world, and it will definitely be spicy hehe. As for whether it’s a BE or HE, that’s a secret (｡•̀ᴗ-). Hello dear readers! So, I am starting to hesitate with this story as we are closely approaching 100k words and I feel like we are only about halfway through Laura's journey. So, can I get a show of hands-on who would prefer I just keep going even if the book gets to 100k plus words or break this down into 2 books? My thinking is that I add an authors note a the end of 'book' 1 so to speak and re-write the synopsis to advise any new readers that it will be 2 books in one.
