"Lucas, enough!" I barked, grabbing his arm and pulling him back. "Go cool off."
"But Liam—"
"I said *go*," I repeated, my voice leaving no room for argument.
Lucas hesitated, then reluctantly stalked off, muttering curses under his breath. Once he was gone, I turned back to Marcus, who still looked irritatingly smug.
"You’ve made your point," I said, my voice low but firm. "Now leave."
Marcus chuckled, brushing an imaginary speck of dust off his sleeve. "Oh, Liam. Always so serious. You should loosen up sometime—it might do you some good." He shot a final glance at Alex before turning to leave. "Enjoy the party, *Your Highness*."
