He would channel white clouds from his dragon aura, and then a dragon. That way, the dragon could hide amidst the white clouds and come charging out when it attacked.

I watch as the huge white dragon flies up into the air. “I’ve got the green one!” Truda yells, shooting her harpoon. I hear the scream of a dragon, but I can’t look. At that moment, the big beautiful dragon lifts up into the sky, screaming her rage. She and the big white one begin blowing air against us, pushing the other dragons back as the wolves go after the elves. They take off running, the cowards, but I hold steady, aiming for the beautiful dragon. I don’t want to kill her, I want to claim her.

To defeat the dragon?” She turned, her eyes cutting through the darkness. She knew who it was before he even stepped into the light, before she even saw his face. When he stepped into the beam of light coming in from the hallway, she locked eyes with him, and her head nodded up and down. “I will train you,” he said. She almost laughed, almost chuckled in his face. But then, she realized he meant it, and while she had always hated him, if anyone other than Xaver Cross could train her to kill the dragon, it was him.
