Carefree God of War

Carefree God of War

No matter who his enemy was, his methods remained the same for ages. Hayden was proficient in dirty methods such as scheming, framing, defaming, assassinating, kidnapping, and intimidation. After all, he had been doing it for so many years. It used to be very effective, only that it was not as effective when applied to Thomas recently. Fiora said, “I am different from you, Uncle Hayden. I choose to understand my enemy before planning my next move. If I am not wrong, up till today, you don’t even have Thomas’s contact, right? I do not agree with how you do things. To defeat a powerful opponent, you must first understand him.”

The story is fast paced unlike most of the stories. I am thrilled to read each chapter. While the plot is similar with other novels of the same genre, I love the way the author develops each character. I also love it very much that chapters are longer and require less coins to open.

I don't think it is right to just quit from ur title being god of war. You have so much effort and sacrifices just to be in that title. Hardships in life will not end how can you depend your love ones if you are that powerless. Maybe you can leave temporarily but not resigned.

This Time I Will Love You

This Time I Will Love You

But I learned that because of a personal matter, it was suddenly put to a stop some time when my father was managing the company. “Little by little would take me too long to achieve my goals. The more connections I gain, the more fame I will receive. But the more damaged he became, the more powerful I can be…” Clicking the sent button, you might ask what did I just do? I don’t need to ask for the products of those related to the Hinsen. After all, right now, their enemy is my friend. And when the time comes… even the friend’s enemy can be my ally…

Enemies in Disguise

Enemies in Disguise

Spoke too early. Each of them strategized to push me out, but I let their momentum work against them. The biggest kept attacking me while his minions focused on my lower body. All I had to do was duck, adjust, and strike. Now, bodies hit the floor, one after another… the three of them whimpered in pain. I stood in the center of my little circle, and raised my hand in victory. The crowd erupted like seasoned cheerleaders. Some stood up, hands on their mouths, while others raised their glasses for a toast.

Loving The Enemy

Loving The Enemy

I cut him off, He glared at me and I raised my hands in surrender and gestured for him to continue. "I'm here so we can work together to take down our enemy." He announced. I raised an eyebrow in question. " And who's that enemy may I add?" "Robert Reed." He spat out. I blanched in shock. "Your father?" I asked confused. Why does he want to take down his father?

Once I started I couldn’t stop reading. I loved the story line. It’s the first time in forever that I was hooked immediately.i would love it if you came out with a second book that allows us to see their relationship unfold. I’m thirsty for more on Ryn, Ace, Nate and Becca relationships. great read!

I LOVE this book. I read the sequel to this book before I realized it was the sequel. It’s one of my favorite books. I’ve probably read it at least 10X! Reading this one it was nice to see how Ryn and Ace became a couple. The sequel is Best Friends Shouldn’t Know How You Taste. It’s Ryn & Aces kids.

Winning Over the Alpha

Winning Over the Alpha

The way Dainin and Cadence ran for her brought her back to reality. Tessa turned and was met with the colorless flesh of the beast, as its hand swiftly grabbed her throat lifting her off the ground. As it choked her it looked off in Dainin's direction. "Too late," it sneered with anger as it looked back into Tessa's eyes. Her vision began to blur as it continued to cut off her air supply. She had forgotten the one rule her uncle drilled into her mind. "Never turn your back on the enemy," she and her wolf recited together. As the world began to disappear all Tessa could hear was her blood rushing in her ears and then a single snap.

Living with the enemy

Living with the enemy

He spoke to me like he was talking to a little girl. I nodded, feeling my lower lip tremble. “You’re mean,” I pouted. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to the beach, and when I get back, I want to see my room normal again. We’re enemies here, I get it, but outside, it’ll be like we’re the best friends in the world.” I patted his shoulder. “I don’t see you as my enemy, Amanda. You see me as a threat because of everything with the trial, I know, but I’m just trying to do the right thing,” he said seriously.

THE ENEMY'S CLAIM

THE ENEMY'S CLAIM

"You do not negotiate with them on their terms. You set yours first or you spend the whole conversation losing ground." Jace was already thinking — Rain could see it, the particular forward lean, the eyes that were looking at something no one else could see yet. "Then we set the terms," Jace said. "Before they arrive. We define the ground." "How?" Sera asked. "We reach out first," Jace said. "Not to negotiate. To establish." The table was quiet for a moment. Everyone had said what they had to say. Cole had laid out the intelligence. Marcus had filled in the history. Lily had given them the legal architecture. Jace had pointed toward the shape of a response.

I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY

I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY

Only Royane and Xavier remain, standing silently beside the fountain like they didn't just traumatize someone. I should’ve left. I should’ve gone straight to Roxie and confessed everything. But I couldn’t move. Because I realize something. I had once mistaken these people as threats, I was cautious about them when they were my protectors. How do I distinguish allies and enemies? I've been all alone for so long, trusting only myself. But now I'm in an academy and they're apparently people who are protecting me. How do I not make the mistake of seeing my allies as enemies?

Star-Crossed Wolves: Silver Moon Rising

Star-Crossed Wolves: Silver Moon Rising

Desi Whitmore's idealism could be gradually corrupted through exposure to moral complexity. Every relationship would be carefully cultivated, every friendship strategically developed, every emotional connection weaponized for future political advantage. "What about the students who prove resistant to influence?" Ian asked. "Document their weaknesses and develop contingency strategies for neutralizing their opposition to family interests," Elena replied with the kind of casual ruthlessness that had shaped Ian's understanding of interpersonal relationships. "Not everyone can be converted into an ally, but everyone can be prevented from becoming an effective enemy." "And if someone becomes genu

When the house fell silent

“By remaining vigilant, coordinating actions, and verifying every piece of information. Fear will accompany escalation, but it cannot guide our choices.” Gail, notebook in hand, documented patterns, subtle behavioral changes, and deviations from expected routines. “Neighborhood infiltration relies on both perception and influence,” she explained. “Small favors, whispered rumors, and micro-conflicts are amplified to create large-scale disruption. By mapping these interactions, we can anticipate disruptions and mitigate their impact.”
