the voice urged, its allure coaxing him toward the dark woods. Closing his ears as if to shut out the otherworldly plea, he hesitantly stepped into the inky blackness. Unperturbed by the nocturnal sounds, Stuart, a natural leader, ventured further. A captivating girl in a Cinderella dress beckoned him deeper into the woods. Though her face eluded visibility, her beauty emanated even from behind. Her curly hair danced in the cold breeze as they reached a mysterious clearing.

Even the humans who don't want any of their own, love cute babbling children. "Yes! All babies are just the most adorable thing ever. I just want to bite the chubby cheeks.” She wiggles her balled fists for effect. Watching humans have love aggression is quite the experience. It's strange seeing them love something so much that they want to bite it or squeeze it. "Wait," she turns towards me with her head tilted in thought, "can..." she looks around, making sure nobody is around to hear, "can werewolves have babies?" She ends with a whisper.

He could not see her face because her head was dipped low. Melody nodded quickly "I am sorry" the words were out again before she could stop them. Hunter was now anxious. My wolf and I suddenly softened as we silently adored this man who also adored us. "I want a hug," he demanded and pouted. "What?" I looked at him in disbelief. "Hug..." He saddened his expression and looked at me with those puppy eyes. I furrowed my eyebrows but then I huffed and chuckled shortly. "Come here then, you sulky Alpha King..." I pulled down his head and made him lean to my chest. Even though my height was above his chin, I still dared to gather him inside my arms instead of letting him gather me inside his arms.

“I guess I’m messing things up for him a little, right?” I have the strangest urge to pull the girl into my arms and hold her tight. I saw one of those sickly sweet graphics on the internet once. It said one day someone’s going to come along who’ll hug you so tight that all of your broken pieces will fit back together again. It made me roll my eyes at the time, and yet here I am years later considering whether maybe it’s not quite such a grotesque idea after all. If I could hug Moona Avii that tight I would.

I just turned and headed for the couch where my haven resided – a mountain of pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals, a fortress of comfort against the encroaching storm. Lifting the edge of the massive, patchwork quilt, I crawled underneath, my heart a hummingbird trapped in a cage. The familiar scent of lavender and my own honeysuckle engulfed me, a tangible embrace against the intangible anxieties that clawed at my soul. Hedwig, my trusty owl plushie, lay nestled amongst the pillows. I scooped her up, her soft, worn fabric a balm to my aching skin. I hugged her close, her weight a comforting anchor in the ocean of my emotions.

We've all hugged the wolf. Wow! Who in the world hugs a wolf? If it hadn't happened to me, i would never have believed it. Could this be a dream? Or imagination? No..this is real. We're hugging a wolf. But i know we would never have hugged it if it had tried to harm us,it was kind to us.
