The Alpha's Sanity

The Alpha's Sanity

Elizabeth The red woman stretched our silence and she was deadly serious just by the sight of her lips that were grim. I chased my breath while pursing my lips hard and widened my eyes in annoyance. I was angry; while she was deadpan. “I am asking you a damn question,” I demanded with a firm and strict tone. “What the bloody hell is happening? Who were the creatures that lured me into the deepest part of the Dark Forest?” “The flyers,” she answered after a long minute. “They are the evil creatures who were also included in living with the witches, vampires, and werewolves, except werewolves, have gone through their way to still exist to this day.”

BLOOD BOUND TO HER THREE MATES

BLOOD BOUND TO HER THREE MATES

Freya snuck a glance behind her, glimpsing the long bony creatures that rose high above the field of tall grass. She saw three of them and they were pale as the moon itself with long spindly arms and legs such that one of their strides was three of hers. “What the hell are they?!” She hissed. “I’ve seen their type before.” Said Adrian. “It’s enough to say that they’re not picky eaters.” They were still running but the creatures were closing in on them fast.

A Hidden Omega

A Hidden Omega

Hunter is flagging, favoring his left leg, and is barely able to use his dual blades to avoid the rapidly moving tentacles. The analytical part of Alex's brain notes that the gang fighting his boys are strange, just like the rift they have slithered out of, as he draws on the horde surrounding the inexperienced pair. The creatures are pitch-black, not the usual shades of browns and reds he's used to encountering. They are also formed very differently, and support limbs varying from stingers, clawed paws, darting tongues and tentacles.

A DEAL WITH THE ALPHA DEVIL

A DEAL WITH THE ALPHA DEVIL

And then, without warning, the shadows beyond the trees moved, Fast. A blur rushed out, then another and another. They didn’t cross into the firelight, but they didn’t have to. We could see enough. Strange eyes, pale and glowing. Not wolves, not exactly. Hybrids. The ones we’d heard rumors of creatures twisted by dark magic, neither wolf nor man, bred for speed and slaughter. “Get everyone back!” I ordered. The warriors closed ranks, forming a protective wall. The feast was forgotten. Plates dropped, children scooped up and rushed to safety.

Jade: The Hybrid Mage

Jade: The Hybrid Mage

Its body doubled in size instantly, wobbling as it digested its meal before shrinking back to normal. I recoiled, bile rising in my throat. Then, I paid closer attention to the rhythmic swelling and deflating of the ground beneath me. It was truly like the steady breathing of a living creature. And based on the little I'd seen around me—like the insides of a large and long creature, I knew he wasn't wrong. My hand brushed against something hard lodged in the fleshy wall behind me—a rib-like bone. 'Gods have mercy!' Klaus’s voice cut through my mounting terror. “Don’t worry about those awful creatures, Jade,” he said. “They only hunger to eat each other. Whereas we—”

Bound by a Hybrid and a Lycan

Bound by a Hybrid and a Lycan

* Darius was after Kaliyah—why would she risk it all and come back? Behind them, the forest erupted with chaos, and my eyes widened when I saw the source of the grotesque howls. An army of creatures surged forward—rogues, revenirs, gwyllgi, and other horrors too twisted to name—poured out of the trees like a flood, their glowing eyes locked on Calum and Kaliyah as they chased them with frenzied hunger.

DEAR EX, I AM YOUR UNCLE'S MATE

DEAR EX, I AM YOUR UNCLE'S MATE

“They’re here for all of us. You just happen to be dessert.” Before anyone could react, the creatures lunged. The clearing erupted into chaos. Aric barked orders to the wolves, and they formed a defensive line, snapping and clawing at the monstrosities. Elijah shifted mid-run, leaping at one of the creatures and driving it back with sheer force. Annabel stayed rooted, her thoughts racing. These creatures were unlike anything she’d seen. Ash wasn’t just creating hybrids—he was perfecting abominations. “Annabel, move!” Aric shouted, snapping her out of her thoughts.

Dangerous Desire

It screeched, whipping around for another attack— But the original prototype lunged, slamming into it mid-air. It bit into the mutant’s neck, corrupt fluid spraying across the snow. Lena cried out as the creatures collided in a frenzy of claws and bone. “WHY ARE THERE SO MANY?!” she screamed. Rhea pulled her up, panting. “Because they were made for YOU!” Lena shook her head violently. “No — no, I’m nobody, I’m just—” Rhea grabbed her shoulders, eyes burning.

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

I agreed, this was unnatural, whatever these things were. I think my heart stopped for a second, but it seemed a lot longer until I finally came out of the initial shock and gathered my senses. And I tried to think, think, what would Hunji and Lamia do? The answer wasn’t coming to me and I saw another one of these things crawl down the side of a building and began tearing into another fighter. The screams were deafening as were-cats burned and then convulsed before dying, the creatures swarming our fighters.

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.
